The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 330 Sign a Waiver
Chapter 330 - 330 Sign a Waiver
Bruce Will.
A genius from the Will Family.
When he broke through into the Heaven Realm, he was barely twenty-three years old and had been hailed as the number one among the top students in the martial arts world, earning his place on the prestigious list of achievers. However, after Bruce graduated from Houston Martial Arts School, another top student, Master Bertha, surpassed him and claimed his position on the list.
For some time, a legendary story circulated in martial arts circles, one of destiny and perfect alignment. It spoke of two genius fighters: Bruce and Master Bertha. Many believed they were destined to be a perfect couple.
Bruce had met Master Bertha before. When they first crossed paths, he was struck by her otherworldly beauty—she was like a fairy. He couldn't help but fall for her. But no matter how much he admired her, he knew that a close relationship was beyond his reach.
Now, as he answered a call from his brother Tony, he was told of a recent encounter—a man had beaten Tony, and the attacker was described as the lover of Master Bertha. The mere thought that someone dared to take such a position caused Bruce to burn with anger.
When he arrived at the scene, he immediately confronted John.
"Are you Master Bertha's lover?" Bruce demanded, emphasizing the word "lover" with disdain.
"Yes," John replied nonchalantly. "So what? Do you want me to detail our relationship?"
Bruce's anger flared. John's calm, almost arrogant response stoked the fire inside him. It was as if John didn't even acknowledge Bruce's authority, and the lack of fear in his demeanor was more infuriating than anything else.
In the corner, Lucien Ward, who had lost two front teeth during an earlier altercation with John, glared with unbridled hatred. The pain from his broken teeth, now bleeding, seemed insignificant compared to the rage he felt.
Bruce, his eyes narrowing with murderous intent, moved toward John, his body radiating an intense pressure. John's casual, almost calculating, gaze only added fuel to the fire. Bruce's anger simmered as he thought about the best way to crush John's arrogance.
Bruce had reached the late stages of the Heaven Realm at the age of twenty-seven, and his talent was widely recognized. Yet as he approached John, his thoughts were a mix of fury and calculation. He wanted to strike John, but he also wanted to humiliate him first.
John, however, remained unfazed, his posture relaxed. A smile played on his lips as he responded, "Yes, that's my purpose, but let's wait a few days."
Bruce's brow furrowed in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
John shrugged casually. "Sign a waiver. Three days from now, we'll have a battle to the death. And for the venue—how about your old alma mater, Houston Martial Arts School?"
Bruce was taken aback. He expected a fight right here and now, but John's challenge left him perplexed. John wanted a public spectacle—a battle that would be witnessed by all. It would be a spectacle worthy of the martial world's attention.
Bruce, still skeptical, shook his head. "I can kill you right now."
John's smile widened. "Ah, but that would deprive you of the chance to prove yourself. Think about it. This is your chance to show everyone that you're the stronger man. The one who is worthy of Master Bertha's attention. Don't you think this is a better opportunity?"
Bruce's anger flared even more. "You're an interesting one, but why are you so eager to propose such a solution? You're only making it easier for me to ruin your reputation."
John nodded. "Exactly. A battle in three days would spread like wildfire, drawing attention far and wide. But if you kill me now, it'll be just another fight. No one will care."
Bruce, sensing the truth in John's words, found himself intrigued by the proposed duel. It was a chance to silence his opponent in front of the entire city, and if he won, his reputation would be solidified. However, the possibility of failure—the idea of his reputation being tarnished in front of the crowds—didn't sit well with him.
"You are very confident, aren't you?" Bruce said, a chuckle escaping his lips. "You think I'm the one who will lose?"
John's smile never wavered. "That's what I'm implying."
Bruce was momentarily taken aback by the casualness with which John spoke of the upcoming battle. It was clear that John wasn't intimidated, and this only fueled Bruce's desire to defeat him and prove his superiority.
However, Tony, who had been silent up to this point, suddenly shouted in frustration. "Bruce, no! This isn't a good idea! This guy is trying to manipulate you! Three days from now, who knows where he'll be?"

Bruce considered Tony's words for a moment, but he was already too far gone in his desire to prove himself. "That's true," Bruce muttered. "But I'm not backing down now."
At that moment, Bruce turned to look at Arno. "You seem to know this man. What's your relationship with him?"
Arno hesitated, but before he could speak, Bruce's eyes locked onto Sophia. The young woman had been quietly observing, her worry apparent. Bruce had noticed the shift in her expression when he released his pressure on John—it was clear that Sophia cared about him.
Bruce's suspicion grew. There was more to this situation than he had originally thought. He pointed at Sophia and demanded, "What's your connection to him? Tell me now."
Sophia froze, her expression betraying her unease. Before she could respond, her father, Buck, subtly shook his head, signaling for her to remain silent.
Sophia understood immediately. She was reluctant to reveal too much, but her father's silent warning was enough to make her pause.
Bruce's eyes narrowed as he watched the exchange, sensing that the web of relationships surrounding John was far more complicated than he had originally assumed.
The battle was set. In three days, John and Bruce would face off—two powerful figures, each with something to prove, and the entire city would be watching.
