The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 417: I’m Not Qualified?
Chapter 417 - 417: I'm Not Qualified?
John thought Queenie was just messing around at first—but what she said next genuinely shocked him.
Trying to play it cool, he said, "I don't know what you're talking about."
But Queenie wasn't having it.
"Hmph. My sister told me everything," she said coldly, her eyes slicing into him.
Sure enough—she knew.
Of course she knew.
John sighed internally. This kind of reaction could only come from jealousy. And that meant trouble.
He sensed things were about to spiral.
Still, he hadn't expected Angela to be the one to spill the beans.
Alas...
Edward sighed quietly to himself from the sidelines.

Fine. Let it happen. There was no avoiding it now.
"I'm not going to explain," John said with a shrug. "Since you already know."
"So you admit it?"
"I admit it."
John nodded calmly, refusing to give any excuses.
After all, it had happened. He and Angela had crossed that line—even if it hadn't exactly been romantic. Regardless of how or why, he wasn't the type to deny responsibility. He wouldn't let Angela down.
"Hmph! You really thought you could hide something from me?"
With a proud tilt of her beautiful chin, Queenie added, "Well then, I won't make this harder than it needs to be. But I have to—"
What?!
John's eyes widened.
Did I hear that right?
Is she serious?
"Queenie... don't you think this is a bit much? We only just started... that."
He gulped, hard.
"Can we talk about this later?"
Even though he already had a sense of what kind of woman Queenie was, this was too fast.
No. No. No. This is bad.
There was bound to be some chaos between them if things moved too quickly—even if they got along well.
To his surprise, Queenie didn't back down. In fact, she leaned in and asked coldly:
"Why? Am I not qualified?"
Her tone was sharp. Her face, stunning—but deadly serious.
Twisting his ear, she repeated louder, "Answer me! Am I not qualified?!"
John froze.
She scared the hell out of him when she got like this.
"No, no, of course you are," he said quickly. "You're more than qualified—I'd help you anytime!"
In his heart though, he was the one who didn't feel worthy.
"That's more like it," Queenie said smugly, releasing his ear. "And don't force me to act inelegantly next time."
John muttered silently, "You're talking about elegance? You just forced me into... never mind. I swear, you'll pay for this later!"
Just to buy some time, he asked, "Um... what about my wife's opinion?"
"Angela?" Queenie smirked. "No problem at all. I'm her eldest sister. She wouldn't dare say no to me!"
Unbelievable.
Absolutely insane!
But all John could do now was follow her lead.
Then Queenie asked again, like it was no big deal, "So... what's my position?"
John tried to keep things light, hoping it'd smooth things over. "Um... my big wife?"
Slap!
She smacked him across the head.
"I'm serious! Don't joke around!"
John was stunned.
Wait... I was serious too...
But now he was starting to realize Queenie might be aiming for something else entirely.
Her moods were impossible to follow.
Her logic—utter chaos.
Then, her face turned cold again.
"Stop joking. I'm asking to join Grand Theft. That's all."
"Immortal Morality?" John asked, confused.
That was not what he thought this conversation was about.
"Yes," Queenie said matter-of-factly. "You and Angela are part of Grand Theft, and now that I'm a cultivator too—I want in."
"Oh... that's what you meant..."
John blinked.
Damn. I really misread this whole situation.
He chuckled awkwardly. "Yeah. Of course. No problem."
She stared at him, suspicious. "Then what were you thinking just now?"
"Nothing!" he said, a little too fast.
Trying to recover, John added, "Anyway... you're a cultivator now because of me. So, in public, that makes me your teacher. In private... you're still my sister."
He hoped that would calm things down.
Queenie seemed to think about it, then nodded. "Fine. That works."
John grinned mischievously. "Then call me Master."
"F*ck off!"
She snapped back immediately, regretting even agreeing to that logic.
John gave a bitter smile.
Yeah... just as I thought. You can't take anything she says seriously.
