[Alright, you can come out now, Elara's gone,] Evangeline said plainly. [Leave the naked chicks in for the time being, okay?]

"I have my ways—probably just my charm though." Neraxis chuckled, but upon noticing Evangeline didn't like the joke, he continued. "Err... I think having more allies for what's to come is going to be crucial. Otherwise we'll be wiped out."

"Okay, so you don't think I'm enough then," Evangeline said, causing his eyes to widen.

"What are you even talking about? Of course you're enough, but can you be at a hundred different places at once? I for sure can't."

"But you can though?" Evangeline tilted her head. "You can teleport as long as there is a sun high in the sky, and if you timed it just right, you could be everywhere at once."

"You're just making excuses." Neraxis sighed. "Look, I'm not sure if you three are getting along or not, but they are experienced. I need that experience, strength, and everything else to protect those I care about."

He narrowed his eyes. "Are we going to have a problem, Evangeline?"

She glanced back at him, and after a few short moments, she shook her head. "I don't think so. I'm just wondering if you've signed your soul off or something stupid... I do know you can be pretty reckless at times."

"I didn't sign anything off," Neraxis replied flatly. "I found a loophole, and I exploited it. Also, the Universe fucked off finally."

With those words, he walked up to her and placed a hand on her forehead.

In the very next instant, Neraxis traced the same connection he had felt with the Universe earlier, and of course, he removed it without even wasting a second.

"Huh?" Evangeline's eyes widened. "What just happened?"

"So there's this little connection that exists. From what I understood, it's like a tracker. I basically removed that tracker just now," Neraxis stated. "I'm going to do the same for my sister and parents. In the meantime, could you wake Amaterasu and Seraphina?"

He didn't really want to fight with Evangeline over literal nothing, so he simply decided to fast-forward the conversation.

And from the looks of things, neither did she.

"As long as you're not going to have a foursome, then I'll do it," Evangeline replied with a smirk. "But you owe me dinner—actual dinner. This body hasn't eaten yet."

Neraxis tilted his head. "Didn't you say my family made you some food?"

"Well..." Evangeline scratched her cheek. "just stored it away instead of eating it. I wanted my first meal to be with you."

"You're just so cute..." Neraxis said with a smile. "I'll see you in just a bit. We can have dinner, and then I'll head back to the Wilds. You coming with me?

"Mmm... I don't know... I might use some of your past life memories to get some connections, if you don't mind of course," Evangeline replied. "After the incident back in the auction, you refrained from using your knowledge too much. I'm going to recruit some capable people, and maybe even make us richer."

"Richer than I already am?" Neraxis tilted his head. "I guess more money doesn't hurt. I'll support you with whatever you're going to do. Though I doubt you'll need my help."

Evangeline giggled before waving. "Go do that thing to your family, I'll wake them up."

Neraxis nodded and, with that, went downstairs.

Everyone was in the living room, seemingly chatting amongst themselves. However, when Neraxis came into view, they all froze.

"N-Neraxis?" Sophia muttered. "Did you seriously dye your hair? Also... what's up with the message?"

"It was a typo," Neraxis replied with a faint smile. "As for the hair, it was an accident, but it's going to stay permanent sadly."

"You look like a jock." Roskaris scoffed. "A playboy jock at that. What's next, you're going to bring more women over to our house?"

Neraxis's brow twitched, but he merely shrugged. "Maybe later. Can each of you give me your hands? I want to try doing something."

"You're not going to do anything weird, are you?" Elara asked with a wary look. "Evangeline told me you have quite a lot of girls on your mind, so—"

"You're my sister. Also, you're pretty ugly," Neraxis said with disgust. "No offense though, I'm sure you'll grow out of it eventually."

The moment he finished those words, Elara's fist came flying at him, which he immediately grabbed.

And of course, he soon found that connection with the Universe, and without wasting a moment, severed it.

Unlike Evangeline, Elara didn't notice a difference, so he merely twirled her around and plopped her down on the floor.

"Now then, Mom, your turn," Neraxis said with a smile, making Sophia's brow twitch.

"You're going to throw me on the floor like that too? No thanks, honey. My bones are already fragile enough," Sophia said, shaking her head.

Neraxis merely sighed, walked over to both her and his father before placing his hands on theirs.

And while they were confused by what he was doing, he steadily severed the connection, and then swiftly let go.

"I'm done here. I just wanted to get your reaction, since I'll have a very big announcement soon," Neraxis stated with a wide smirk.

"Let me guess—you've got a baby on the way?" Sophia asked with a chuckle. However, upon noticing Neraxis wasn't responding, her eyes widened.

"H-Honey? Are you serious?"

Neraxis sighed and nodded slowly. "Evangeline and I are going to try for a baby."
