The World's most Overpowered Side-Character-Chapter 438: A Blind Greeting.
"The what?" Usami asked, gently pushing one of the other kids away when he tried biting her.
"Goddess of the End?" Sol nearly scoffed but held himself back, shaking his head instead. "She's the goddess of nothing, don't worry, I'll put an end to her before she does anything like this again."
"Who are you people?" The man that had almost been killed asked, forcing his way through the children and falling to his knees before them. "Where didi you come from?"
"Don't come any closer." Dina stood before Sol with her hand extended at the man while her hair began flickering after he tried crawling towards them.
"Alpha, gather all of the children in one clearing and let me know when you're done."
[I will be able to in the next ten minutes, along with disarming the masses,] She responded appearing in the flesh at their sides and looking at the man. "What shall I do about the adults and elderly?"
At this question, everyone paused and looked at Sol, Dina because she wanted to ask as well, Ikaris because she was going to make a suggestion and Usami because she had no Idea how to answer such a question; formerly a president she knew what it meant to be responsible for a country, but this was regarding the existence of an entire species.
"Nobody would fault you if you washed your hands of the situation and walked away right now," Dina commented amidst turning and looking at the man again. "I may not be able to sense their thoughts and desires but I can feel the blood on his soul.
"Dina, it is wrong to condemn an entire species based on a singular encounter with a sole individual," Ikaris interrupted her. "Imagine if someone like Han made first contact while others like yourself and our dearest remained hidden." She used them as an example.
"I must agree there," Usami added to Ikaris's statement. freēwēbnovel.com
"I want to save all of them if posssible," Sol snappped his fingers causing a warm meal and beverage to appear in every child's hand before him. "I know that's a tall task considering how they are right now, I also know it's impossible to get them to the way they were before," He took a deep breath and rested the child to stand again. "But this is in part also my fault."
"You cannot take the blame for what Giza and Umbra do, Master," Dina objected. "Uon was unfortunate enough to cross their paths and I am sure a lot of other people will be as well, it's not your fault."
Rather than argue, Sol sought a pile of rubble and sat atop it causing the kids and the man to once again flock around them as even the man had been granted food and something to drink.
There he waited for Alpha to finish her synthesis and then at a chime all of the weapons vanished and a small bubble appeared around those who were in the middle of fighting.
"Master, it is done."
"Alright," Sol stood with his eyes closed and his arms spread wide. "I will take it from here."

"Unexpected." Giza paused and looked behind herself after feeling the planet she had marked with a seed of darkness get washed with Sol's mana and then vanish from her sight.
"What's wrong, is someone following us?" Umbra; ready for action balled his fists facing the direction she had looked. "That's the direction we're coming from, right?" He asked.
"Sol Vestic just interfered in a little sore I left to fester."
"How far away is he?" Umbra's teeth grit and his eyes narrowed as he further prepared to fight his sworn enemy.
"You are still not ready, My Lord, to fight him now is akin to killing yourself."
"I know that already, but if Sol Vestic is following in our path then-"
"You need not worry Umbra," Giza dropped the formalities, resting her hand on his shoulder from behind and running her fingers across his chest while she pressed their cheeks together. "He is ways away from us, lagging by over a month, we will broaden the distance soon, by the time he arrives near the Nexus two more months will have passed, while we will be there in the next three weeks.
"Then let's hurry." Umbra stepped forward causing her to right herself behind him.
"Don't they look good together?" A young girl asked, watching Giza chuckle and stand before Umbra. Once again they were on an alien planet, the people were an odd shade of green primarily, but amidst them there were others tinted yellow and a rare few red, Giza and Umbra stood out because of their peculiar skin only seen on tourists.
"Mind your own business," Umbra turned sharply causing a small bit of his mana to seep out, leaving the green girls stunned speechless with their mouths left agape. "Let's get going, you've had your fun." He stared at the streetside meal she had ordered.
"Hold it there boy, you need to pay before you leave." An old man in a messy apron approached them waving a big spoon with a smile. "Just because I made you eat first doesn't mean the food is free, this is not some charity-"
"Begone," Giza slowly rested her cold gaze onto the old vendor, and a moment later he was missing, and with him his stall and everything he owned was gone.
"What did you do?" Umbra who had never seen anything of this nature asked, intrigued. "Did you erase him?"
"Something like that, yes." She chuckled slowly floating into the sky intent on leaving when she saw a man grab on to Umbra's hand.
"Hold it there." The red man stared intently.
"What do you want, officer?" Umbra unexpectedly asked after seeing the weird enforcer badge rather than destroy the being that had touched him without his permission, he had done so because of the tense fear he felt from the man, so strong it almost seemed to take form.
"I don't know!" The man answered, catching even Giza off-guard and causing her to land again and stare at him.
"Is is your custom to grab on to tourists then?" She queried, growing intrigued witnessing the beads of sweat rolling down the man's forehead and neck.
"N-no, I am terrified, I want to go home and die in a corner, but I am here, holding you, asking that you not leave yet!"
"Are you in control of your own body?" Giza's smirk slowly dwindled. "Are you free to move on your own?"
"No, I am not." He continued staring at Umbra while he spoke, sweating until his pours began dripping thin purple blood. "I don't... I want to..." He struggled to speak before his eyes rolled over into the back of his head and his grip on Umbra's hand tightened. "I represent Master Buche, he sent me here to greet you."
"Buche?" Umbra looked at Giza confused.
"Who the fuck is Buche?"
