Tower's Richest Player: My Coins Won't Stop Increasing-Chapter 32 - 1st Floor
Chapter 32 - 1st Floor
When they were in the game, as one entered the tower, they would feel a unique sensation for the initial few hours.
A unique sensation of people, eyes watching them from all around them. Eyes that one cannot track, eyes that saw the entirety of their being, the secrets that they were hiding, to their true selves.
It was as if someone that knew everything about them was looking at them, someone who they could not hide anything from.
"The feeling is the same." He mumbled as soon as his body manifested in a unique place surrounded by tall metallic walls on both sides.
It was a narrow pathway with the front and back looking endlessly stretched, with no end visible on the end.
"Perhaps thanks to the Authority, it's not as weird as it usually is." First calming himself down and checking his body, he got used to the weird sensation.
These sensations that the players felt throughout their initial time in the Tower were eyes of the Higher beings that resided in the higher floors of the tower.
They were beings that were restricted to those higher floors, and many of them were interested in the players that start their journey within the tower.
Some give a few chosen ones their blessings, some mess with them and give them impossible quests with impossible rewards, while some were mischievous and gave their powers to random players.
'I guess skills and blessings won't be anything bad, but...'

There were many notifications with the Titles of certain Higher beings that were interested in him.
He did not want to get involved with them just yet, but he could not lose this interest either.
"I'm open to donations if you have too much to spare. I might look at you with a brighter light if you show a little generosity to this poor lamb."

[Many higher beings have lost interest in you.]
[Many higher beings withdraw their gazes from you.]
Asking for money was the best way to get rid of them, but there were some who also played along with mortals' wishes.

There were many ridiculous offers before him as he sat down with his back supported by one of the walls on the left.
This was only the first floor and they were already playing games with him. Had he not known them enough, he would even fall for many of the attractive offers and miss out on a lot more.
"I believe you all know I'm not going to accept the Apostle position. I'm not looking to join any factions either. I asked for donations, not deals." Shaking his head while looking through his inventory, he waited for what he wanted.
But as he knew, there was no one among the many higher beings looking at him that would just give out their money to someone that didn't have any connection to them.
This wasn't a livestream, and they weren't his viewers... yet.
Within the tower, the higher beings needed to spend their own limited in order to invest anything into someone. If they could not get anything in return, there was no point in giving any of the players anything.
KiRA believed he wasn't going to get anything from them like how it is all the time. But that wasn't the case.

[You have received a Message from <[Warrior of a fallen world]>.]
< "Go warrior, scream!" >
There were a bunch of messages and donations from names that he did not recognize.
This was the first time he was seeing these names even though he knew who the one offering him the power of 'mist' was.
These new higher beings meant there were [Storylines] within the tower that might be related to them. Scenarios that could give hints of their adventures.
The floors of the tower were built uniquely, each one of them presenting a different Question to the players in the form of a quest, a scenario, a challenge, or a dilemma that they had to overcome with skills, knowledge, and insight.
In this tower, it wasn't always about fighting or clearing difficult challenges. Many of the floors that they will face will have much simpler requirements to clear.
Some floors will also be resting floors that will get cleared after the time-limit comes to an end.
What they could earn in all of these floors will vary greatly. There will come times when the players will have the chance to experience the Stories of those who now reside at the apex of the tower.
"The theme of the tower changes, but the challenges that are presented to each player depends on the actions of the players rather than a predetermined outline."
Of the twelve Laws that determined the Flow of any scenario, he only had Authority over one of them. And thanks to this one important authority, his presence within the tower was different from any other player.
He had a unique Significance within the tower, making him a target of interest for not just those higher beings but also the very System that maintained these Laws.
"Thanks for all the donations, everyone~. Please keep looking over this poor lamb for a long, long time~."
The higher beings possessed a kind of wealth that those of the lower floors cannot fathom. If they could create and use dungeons as a 'delicacy' they were simply beyond one's understanding.

There were seven who sent him messages, a few of which had no intention of taking him under their wings. They enjoyed what he had done to that goddess, and there were those who waited for their chance.
KiRA recognised some of the names while some were new to him. However, it wasn't a big deal to him anymore. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
"Should we start moving, Uni?"
[{ Yes, master~. }]
He had sent her to look around the area to get an idea of their current location. They needed to move towards the western end instead of the center so determining where they were was the first step.
[{ We're in area 24C. We should go to this side! }]
Unity knew this place. If the entire maze was the same as they knew, then this was the right way.
And even if this wasn't the right way, following her direction was much better since KiRA could already sense some unpleasant things on the other side.
"Let's get moving then."
Surrounding them were tall, cold, metallic walls made from a unique alloy that the dwarves developed to trap a certain being.
The story of this maze was pretty funny, but hearing it from him wasn't going to be as effective as hearing it from one of the creators of these walls.
So...
[{ Master! There are players ahead of you! }]
He was going to meet that person first.
