He didn’t think those rumors could be wrong; something had to be within that Marriage. They were either acting or masking their true relationship.

The guard thought otherwise but didn’t voice it; he actually saw them together, and honestly, he could tell they lived harmoniously. Those eyes couldn’t lie; Huo Ting Cheng was enamored and bewitched by Tang Fei’s existence whilst Tang Fei was allured to his life; that man was capable of killing for her. What else could he not do?

"Why are you quiet? Just speak up your mind!" He didn’t know why, but every time he thought of Huo Ting Cheng, he felt anger and bitterness swelling in his heart; maybe Huo Ting Cheng knew this was how Yu Jing was, and that’s the reason he had avoided her like the plague. Huo Ting Cheng was already living his life and had such a beautiful wife that was incomparable to Yu Jing but his wife was still obsessed with him. Qin Xinyu who was assisting his mother in clearing all the garbage, cleaned his hands once he was done.

"Mother, I will go over to our room and check out the amount of money and gifts I received today and record them down. I want to know how much it’s and then I will see if we will save it in the bank or just ask Auntie to invest it for me." He kissed her on the forehead, but Nanny Yun held his hand, stopping him. Qin Xinyu halted as he turned around and eyed her curiously as age seemed to be having something she wanted to say.

"My dear, I wish you would grow up healthy and safe... Don’t hate or hurt yourself, it’s only you who can make yourself happy. You deserve to be happy as much as everyone else." She heard a few stances and understood that Qin Xinyu’s biological parents were amongst the guests and wondered how he had felt seeing his biological parents treating other kids better than him. She was afraid that she would lose him but hoped he would be happy no matter what kind of choices he made.

"Momma, I’m already happy and looking into the future of retiring you; nothing more should bother me; whatever I have at the moment is the best." He understood why she was speaking like that. He didn’t have any plans of abandoning someone who truly loved and cared for him or people who had abandoned him. They were bound to be a family forever and this was his destiny. All these years they have lived peacefully and whatever he received was nothing but pure love

"Am glad to hear that." She was happy with whatever decision he made. Even if he wished to go back to them, she wouldn’t stop him. After all, they were his biological parents. Luckily, she had processed the papers, and she had sole custody of Qin Xinyu; no matter how they dared to claim him, legally, he was her adoptive son.

"Momma, Twilight might be my long-lost sister; we can be a family to her, right? We will be conducting a DNA test tomorrow and confirm if she is the one." He hadn’t had time to speak up to his mother and this felt like the perfect time to. He couldn’t keep his mother in the darkness, she was his only true relative and a person close to him that he had to share with.

With her current job, she didn’t think it would be that hard to raise another human. She was happy that her son would have a sibling who was related to him and wouldn’t be lonely as she was unable to give birth.

He got in and closed the door before walking into his bedroom and opened the bedside drawer before getting all the envelopes and gifts he had kept in there. Inside of those, most envelopes contained just an ATM money card with a password. The only envelope that was different from the others was the one their Auntie gifted them; it had some good gemstones inside worthy of up to a billion if auctioned; this was the most expensive gift he ever received.

Looking at the gemstones, he thought of keeping them in a safe at the bank or letting his Auntie keep them for him; probably, it was the only safe way. His Auntie won’t play him.

After confirming everything, he took a shower and decided to take a nap after running up and down, he needed time to rest his growing body.

It was almost 8 into the evening and it didn’t seem like her momma would be waking up at anytime soon. She also hasn’t been assigned to any room in the mansion; probably, she would go with her to the Xu family.

"I guess we would end up sleeping here today." She loudly yawned as a guard walked over in their direction.

"Miss Twilight, Miss Xu... I will lead you to your assigned bedrooms." With bowed shoulders, he stretched his hands respectfully showing them the way.

"Okay...." They got up and walked through the corridor passing by Qin Xinyu’s bedroom entrance door and occupied the bedroom that was next door. It was a private bedroom with three bedrooms inside; Twilight would occupy one of them, and Xu Xie would sleep in the other one. One would be left empty.

"Miss Twilight, you would be living in this bedroom, and Xu Xie can sleep on the other, that would be the permanent place you would be sleeping whenever you come over for a sleepover, this is a common area, you can lounge here and that’s the functioning kitchen that can be used in cooking, that’s a common area bathroom and all your bedrooms have bathrooms and closets, here is the key and never open the door to anyone...."
