Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 36: Rather, I felt his eyes intently on me
Chapter 36 - Rather, I felt his eyes intently on me
Min-Cheol released me and smiled.
Seriously, what was going on? He looked more excited than usual.
"Your bed hair is cute," he said and his hands landed on my butt, squeezing tightly. "Here as well,"
Haa, I looked down. Could he not do this? It was embarrassing.
But I couldn't exactly tell him to stop and let him grope my butt as much as he wanted.
I used my hand to straighten my hair and get rid of the bed hair.
"Ahem," I cleared my throat, clearing away my fluster. "I was told to come down, is there..." I looked past him. "... Is there something going on?"
"Not really, old man three just arrived and wants to see you." Min-Cheol said, confirming the fact that the third Alpha had arrived. But seriously, could he not call them like that?
Without the numbers, I'd probably be confused about who he's referring to.
"T-then," I grabbed his arm and squinted my eyes. He was using too much force now.
"Sorry, did I squeeze too hard?" He asked and I nodded. "Then, how's this?" He realized his grip a bit.
Ah, I'd appreciate it if you just let go completely.
"Better," I said, forcing a smile and he beamed. I should probably stop encouraging him. "Anyway, what are those gifts? Is it someone's birthday?"
"No, old man three probably brought them from one of his clothing stores. He owns the population of clothing stores in the country and they're very popular too. I don't know if he brought them for you on his own though,"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I heard the two old men talking about a transaction. So maybe old man one asked him to bring them for you on his way here." He said and I gave it a thought.
Given Ki-hoon's rapid character development, it wasn't so far-fetched.
I didn't have many clothes since I arrived just four days ago, but they had prepared quite a number of waistcoats to make sure I was dressed formally for dinner and breakfast at least.
They should've just used that opportunity to get me regular clothes that would help me feel comfortable. What am I, royalty?
Come to think of it, Ki-hoon must've gotten me this nightwear last minute. I saw a few unpacked nightwear when the maids were picking something out for me to wear last night.
"Then, where is he now?" I asked, "My third master, I mean."
"Right behind you," Min-Cheol said, and my eyes widened; quickly turned around to find a tall, handsome blonde man with green eyes staring at me.
Well, technically, his eyes were fixed on Min-Cheol's hands that were on my butt. He must be wondering what sort of obscene behavior we were practicing.
'Ugh, my effort to impress him just got thrown out the window,'
"Um, hello," I greeted, bowing my head. "Master,"
Luckily, Min-Cheol let go of my butt. If not, that situation would've been utterly ridiculous. I kept my head bowed, waiting for a response from him but there was none.

Rather, I felt his eyes intently on me. He was probably accessing me and seeing how comfortably I was dressed, he became curious as to what was going on in the mansion in his absence.
"Are you Hwang Jo-Pil?" He asked and I answered,
"Yes," I answered and gulped. His voice sounded like spring, alright. It was calm, gentle and soothing.
He sounded more sincere than anyone I've ever heard with that one simple question.
This man was just too good looking and his voice was marvelous.
No wonder it was fiction.
He was just too charismatic to be a normal man. I don't know if to call Dominant Alphas, who exudes way more charisma and excellence than other beings normal, but let's use it to fit the bill for now.
I wanted to peek at his face just once, but I couldn't help myself. No matter how gentle and calm this man was, he was someone I did not want to mess with.
You'll never guess what other side job this man has. His appearance and character will fool whoever doesn't know the insides of his dealings.
Remember when I said each of the Alphas had one or two loose screws in the head? I absolutely meant it.
Even this man who looked like the most perfect man in the world, more perfect than Ki-hoon in appearance, and beat him completely in character too, was not normal.
He was very dangerous and those green eyes held secrets the rest of the world were unaware of.
"Hwang Jo-Pil," he called my name again and I gulped once more, wishing he would call me name one more time.
What was wrong with me? I wasn't gay but I seemed to be infatuated with the men in this world. I had no other choice but to blame my gender. I was male but an Omega so of course I would be attracted to Alphas.
Yes, that was a plausible excuse.
"You look like you're living well," he said. Ha, I know he was surprised at how comfortably I was dressed in my nightwear and all. "You look better than the first time I saw you too," he said.
"Yes, master." I said. "It's thanks to your generosity."
"How so?" He asked and I dared to lift my head, beaming a smile.
"Things have turned around for the better for me ever since I got here, so I'm thankful that I was brought here by my masters," I bowed my head, showing sincerity. "Thank you, master,"
"Hm, a glib tongue." He said and then laughed. "I like it. I'm glad to see you're lively, Jo-Pil." He said, stretching his hand to shake me and I stared at it.
Was he seriously asking for a handshake?
No, I couldn't be fooled. If I shake his hand, I would only be claiming with actions alone that I was on equal footing with him which was quite arrogant of me.
And if I refused to shake him as well, he would think I was rude.
Yes, he was a gentleman who let things like disrespect slide but that was on the surface. He was a man who knew how to keep 'coins' and made sure to return the 'coins' in double.
You get it, right? He knew how to keep a grudge.
