Tian He laughed and said, "Why don't you stop beating around the bush and mention Mayor Su by his name? But without Mayor Su, what manner of power can you project? When have the holy cities ever enjoyed as much respect as today? Do you think the myriad races are being so respectful nowadays because they're scared of you? Hahahahaha!"

The mayor of Eternal Serenity City was known as Ping Du. He frowned. They had decided to arrive earlier to put Su Yu in his place and ruin the formation of the alliance. If they couldn't, they would need to at least deter the other mayors from electing Su Yu as the mayor.

This was the task they had received from their backers. They should ruin the alliance as best as they could. If not, they should at least prevent Su Yu from being the leader. That was something many didn't want to happen.
