Chapter 108: Quick....

Lilia stepped out as soon as she was done with her bath, wrapped in a soft pink robe. Her damp hair had already been blow-dried, now looking even silkier as it flowed around her shoulders. Her cheeks were still flushed from the earlier embarrassment.

She had barely stepped out when he sat up and headed toward the bathroom. "Eat the fruits on the table, okay?" he said before disappearing behind the bathroom door.

Lilia’s gaze followed him briefly, then she turned toward the table. The plates were covered. She walked over to the wardrobe and pulled out sleek white silk nightwear—a long gown that felt cool against her skin as she slipped it on. Tying her hair into a loose bun, she made her way back to the bedside. Pulling the rolling table closer, she uncovered the plates to find a beautifully arranged mix of vegetable and fruit salad.

Her heart warmed slightly. She had a feeling she knew why Zethan had done this—it was because he was worried. After he had bitten her, maybe he thought she needed something healthy to make her strong. Something to bring her strength back.

Quietly, she ate, savoring each bite. Once done, she pushed the table aside and lay on the bed, her eyes drifting toward the large castle window. The evening was already fading, the last rays of the sunset casting a golden hue across the room—like a final light marking the end of the day.

With a soft sigh, Lilia closed her eyes, already beginning to drift off to sleep.

Some time passed.

Zethan stepped out of the bathroom, his hair still slightly damp. He didn’t bother blow-drying it, instead running a hand through it in a smooth motion, brushing the strands back with his towel. Dressed in a pajama shirt and pants, he walked quietly toward the bed.

Lilia had already drifted off to sleep.

Gently, he lay beside her, pulling her closer to him as he cuddled her tightly yet gently, then carefully covered both of them with the blanket. He adjusted the duvet slightly, making sure she was comfortable.

Lilia instinctively leaned in, wrapping her arms around him. He breathed in her scent—it was soft, calming, addictive. With a content sigh, his lips curled upwards, listening to the quiet rhythm of her heartbeat.

Turning slightly, he brushed away a few strands of hair that had fallen across her face. His gaze softened as he whispered,

"You said it yourself, sweetheart—me and me alone. You belong to me, my wife."

He paused, his lips curving into a smile again.

"Oh, how brave you were that day, pointing at me in front of the whole crowd. One brave little loris."

She stirred slightly, snuggling deeper into his arms. Her leg lifted and wrapped itself around his waist. Zethan’s body went rigid for a moment, caught off guard, before a slow, knowing smirk appeared on his face.

’If only you knew exactly what you were doing to me right now, sweetheart.’

And finally, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning, Lilia woke up to find herself hugging someone. But this time, she didn’t pull away. Instead, she leaned in, resting her face on his chest as she held him gently. Slowly, she raised her head and realized—he was still asleep.

She blinked, fascinated by how pretty his lashes looked. How could a male have lashes that delicate? They were even more beautiful than hers. Her eyes trailed down to his lips—soft, full, and a rich shade of pink. They looked so kissable that she found herself staring at them for a while before a small smile curved her lips.

Her gaze shifted to his sharp nose, and then her hand moved instinctively. She brushed her fingers through his soft silver hair, gently massaging his scalp. Her hand slowly traveled down to his forehead, then to his nose, and finally to his lips. She gently nibbled on them, making a quiet bulbul sound, then giggled softly before sitting up. Leaning down, she pressed a feather-light kiss on his cheek.

"Just why are you so cute, my husband?" she whispered.

Suddenly, she heard a deep, husky voice.

"Oh, you’re much cuter."

Lilia’s eyes widened in shock. She sat up quickly, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. Zethan opened his eyes lazily and stared at her, still lying on the bed, a soft smirk playing on his lips.

Flustered, Lilia turned her face to the side. "Good morning," she mumbled, trying to sound calm despite her racing heart.

Zethan chuckled. "I never knew my little wife liked to steal kisses in the morning. You know, I’m all yours. You could just do anything you wanted with me."

"It’s not like that, Zethan!" Lilia protested, cheeks flushed.

"Come on, educate me then. What is it like?" he teased, turning his face slightly. "You kissed me here," he said, pointing to his cheek. "How about the other side? You know, things should be equal."

Lilia couldn’t help but smile. To his surprise, she leaned in and kissed his other cheek.

"It seems I’ve missed the most important part," she added playfully.

Before he could react, she leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

Zethan spoke quietly, his voice low and teasing. "Hmm, my wife is getting bold... and I like it."

Lilia simply stared at him in silence her heart racing, her eyes quietly observing him. She wasn’t lying on the bed anymore she was sitting on it, and before she could react, Zethan suddenly whooped and shifted.

With one swift motion, he slid across the large bed and pushed her gently to the other side. The bed was wide enough to give him room, and without warning, he laid his head on her lap.

Turning his body slightly, he wrapped his arms around her, burying his face into her thigh as he hugged her waist gently.

Her body stiffened.

Immediately, she felt him push his face even closer, inhaling her scent deeply. Her eyes widened in surprise as she heard him mumble in that sweet and deep, sinful tone of his, "F*ck, Lilia... you smell so heavenly."

Her brain momentarily shut down but before she could react, she felt a slow bite right on her inner thigh. Her eyes flew open as she jolted upright, every nerve in her body on fire. Then she heard it—his chuckle. Deep, rich, and low, it rumbled against her skin, vibrating through her. And goodness, that feeling... it was too good.

He held still for a moment, then gently caressed her back through the silk nightwear, his touch warm and tender. Eventually, he moved, his head resting on her lap, gazing up at her.

To his surprise, she suddenly covered her face.

"Why are you hiding your face, Loris?" he asked, teasing gently.

She shook her head, her voice small. "My downward face view isn’t pretty," she mumbled, cheeks flushing.

Zethan laughed, and Lilia’s blush deepened even more.

"What are you talking about?" he said with a soft smirk. "Every part of you—Loris, angles, sides—are f*cking pretty."

Lilia’s heart pounded in her chest. Why did his morning voice have to sound this seductive?

Then he leaned closer, his voice a whisper. "Do you want us to have a quickie?"

She hesitated, then replied, "Yes, that’s fine... but I won’t keep my face down for too long."

Zethan went quiet for a moment.

"You can check the downward view—though you know... just have a quick check if the view is pretty or not," she mumbled, quietly removing her hands that were covering her face for him to see.

Zethan stilled, completely caught off guard.

Just where... what exactly... In fact, he was speechless.

He was just silent.

Lilia’s face burned. "Is it that bad? Why are you silent?" she asked, turning her face to the side. She completely misunderstood the reason for Zethan’s silence.

Zethan sat up and spoke softly, "That’s not it, my gorgeous little wife... you don’t know what a quickie—"

Before he could finish, a gentle chime sounded at the door. He stood up from the bed.

"I’ll be back, wife," he said, and Lilia nodded calmly.

Zethan walked to the door and opened it. Standing there was Lucas, who bowed respectfully.

Some time later, Zethan returned to find Lilia standing and picking up her phone. He walked over to the wardrobe and spoke, "There will be a ball dance this morning, so we need to get ready."

Lilia nodded and rushed into the bathroom. As soon as she stepped in, she walked over to the mirror. Her eyes widened, and her hands flew to her mouth.

"Oh my..." she muttered. Her hair looked like a bird’s nest—like a bird had just finished a peaceful nap in it.

Her cheeks turned a deeper shade of red

She couldn’t believe her hair had looked like that the entire time she was talking to Zethan this morning. she grabbed her phone and quickly typed: What is a quickie?

Her eyes flew even wider as she read the result, her lips parting in shock.

"A quick s-s-se*x?!"
