Alice sat in her room. It was extremely large and spacious. She had recovered from the effect of the poison that Seal had thrown in the air. She couldn’t recall how she got back here but she had a faint memory of what she saw before passing out.

She had seen Dominic come in between the sledge hammer of Seal. She had witnessed him go head on with the hammer. She saw it bash onto his head. What the hell had happened! Damn! If Dominic was actually hit by the heavy hammer of Seal, then he ought to have been dead by now.

She leaped up from bed and sat up suddenly. Her heartbeat began to pound heavily. She could not let him die due to her own course of action. She had to find him and heal him. He had to be recovered.

She got up from the bed and looked at her mirror. It was then, she noticed she had a bracket on her neck. She stared at the mirror in confusion. She hated necklaces and ornaments and she had never had this on. Besides this was not hers.

She examined the necklace on her neck on the mirror. The silver lining of the beads and the heavy middle pendant on it. It seemed to be ancient and traditional. She couldn’t make out she goy this on.

She decided to overlook it. She went to her wardrobe to get her weapon. She opened it with a single flap and before her were armoury. Swords of different sizes, spear, penknives of poison. She had a collection of handpicked weapons.

She was obsessed with weapons. She also knew how to use them well and right. She picked up two swords and inserted three penknives into her sleeve.

Then she applied an ointment on her body. She was applying an anti poison cream she had made herself. Being a Random Ghost did not mean she was utterly useless. She had some special skills.

"What if he is already dead? Damn! I can’t let that be. I have to protect him from danger. He can’t die because of me." Alice said as she blushed lightly.

She had always loved him. He was the only one or rather because he was the only one among the Ghosts who was a male. She had loved him ever since he first came to their world.

She got up and went for the door. She pushed it open and walked out if the room. She walked through the stairs , as that was the only means of movement available.

Her first bad omen occurred with the strange length of the stairs. She had walked over seventy stairs but hadn’t reached the bottom of a single stair case. Each stairs case in the was about twenty stairs.

"Damn! I’m I hallucinating or what!" She muttered in anger and decided to follow her window. She turned up to leave but she noticed that it was only one step above her.

Her heart skipped really fast. How was that possible. She had walked on the stairs for about three minutes and all to show for it was just a single stairs? Damn!

This was insane. She had to leave here now. Dominic was dying out there and she wondered where Seal was. If he had already killed Dominic or if General Coris had come in for rescue.

She walked up and took a step upwards but that movement only seemed like a simple step back on the stairs she was on. She gasped in shock and stared at the stairs beneath her feet.

"This I’d impossible. How can this be?! It is not real. First the no locomotion on the stairs. What sort of sort of temptation is this! This is pure insane. I’m not hallucinating neither am I asleep." Alice muttered under her breathe. She stumbled backwards in pain. Her heart felt heavy with the realisation of how she was stuck in here by someone who was nothing but a coward. She couldn’t help Dominc if she could not leave this stairs.

"Don’t bother my dear. You have done enough for him. This spell will elapse after a few hours. Don’t get it too personal. I’m just a messenger." Alice heard a voice. She turned sharply to see a little girl standing on the foot of the stairs case. freēnovelkiss.com

She had two protruded horns from her head and her hair was green. Behind her was a little wing that was similar to a bat and she was rather busty for her age.

"What the..." Alice muttered in shock. The girl smiled innocently and sat on the stair case.

Alice grinned angrily at her. Her temperature boiling over. She was playing with her mind and was here just to stop her from getting to Dominic.

"Damn it!! I should have known. A Delusional demon. Didn’t occur to me that one of your kind would be here. Why are you here and why are you hallucinating me." Alice queried in annoyance. The girl smiled and stared at her like she didn’t understand what Alice had said.

"I said!!–" she was sharply and rudely interrupted by the girl. "I heard you."

Alice stared at her suprised. Tension rose in her stomach. She was before a Delusional demon. She knew how powerful and creepy they were but she had never faced one before. She had only heard them from her mum who had been to the Solo Province.

"Now. For a start, what are you doing with a him?" the girl asked. Alice wanted to scream and rant but the cold stare the little girl gave sent shivers down her spine.

"We found him three days ago and I am now fond of him." Alice muttered. The girl smiled lightly and then it turned slowly to a delightful chuckle and then an outburst of laughter.

Alice stared at her confused. What was she so amused by? Did she know which Ghost she was with? Damn! She had to teach this girl some lesson.

She dived in fast and lashed a punch at the little girl but the invisible cloak rebounced the effect and she was taken aback by the effect of her own punch.

She collapsed back to the ground and stared at the little girl. The girl opened her eyes and stared at Alice, a bit suprised by her actions.

"I know who you are. You are Alice Fares, the second daughter of Lady Fares. I know what power you have but I am above your imaginations. My name is Kelly Cut but just call me Kelly." the little girl said and smiled.

Alice stared at Kelly and felt a rush of anger build up. Her heat beat was building up fast and eager. Then she remembered Kelly’s words. She was stronger than she was and obviously more dangerous than a normal little girl.

"Tsk. Damn! Guess this is what I get for not applying my anti poison cream before battle." Alice cursed. Kelly stared at her and smiled.

"So would you mind telling me why you are here?" Alice asked again.

"Oh! That. I forgot. I’m here to delay you from reaching Dominic Flame." She said and giggled like a little devil she was.

"Why? Are you being paid?" Alice asked.

"Oh, let’s just say I’m just helping a friend to help a friend." Kelly muttered. Alice stared at her in shock. Her eyes darted in confusion. This meant she was not alone. Someone was working behind her and that person was in the ranks of the Ghosts. There was an inner party in this.
