The Age of the Gods had ended. Of Might and Magic has faded. And while it is still there here and there.....that era would not come back so early

There is cyclical phase to this. Maybe someday, maybe a few thousand years later, if this world is still standing, then there is a chance for those Ages to return back and revive

But for now....and a few thousand years from now, it would be age of ants. Of mortals yearning from the sky above their heads.

And Ashana Angah knows that he needs to have a conversation first to calm down these old beings

So, in the eyes of the wise of the Brolgadhr tribe, Garron dying brought many benefits to the tribe

But only those who did not know would think that Aeryon would try to save Garron because of some invisible advantage or benefit that he would have if he save Garron

It is just him having hot bloodedness of youth.

The chief look at this event from the perspective of a chief. But to the common people and warriors of the Steppe, what Aeryon did really fits their image of a great warrior.

His father-in-law is in danger and even if he could not mobilize many men, he still ride toward the aid of his father-in-law.

This won him prestige and his trustworthiness probably rises up in the hearts of the warriors and the common people around the tribe.

It is a pity that the rescue did not come into fruition but the fact was that he had tried his best.

To many warriors, this kind of chief fits their image of a brave and good lord and they feel such lord is worth serving for. Weak warriors of course did not have a choice to whom lord they serve

But for strong and famous warriors, they have the strength and influence to choose who they serve Mayeux is like this, and Burchu is also like this

Mayeux might not be a skilful fighter like Burchu or possess innate strength but he is not a weak scholar like in Yan. He could fight and he could ride, he could shoot bow and he could throw spears.
