With My System, I Can Even Tame Gods-Chapter 1069: Laver Empire’s capital
Looking around, this place seemed like a normal room.
Only there was something that was completely different about this place.
This place had a completely different decor from what they were used to.
Instead of being decorated in the style of the cultivation continent, this place was decorated in the style of the magic continent.
That meant that this place was decorated in the style of a medieval world.
Rokuko was completely taken aback by the decor of this room, but there was a faint smile that appeared on Lin Fan's face when he saw this. After all, this kind of decor was something that he was familiar with as someone who reincarnated into this world.
As someone from Earth, he knew all about this style since this was one of the most common styles that was used in the games and novels that he used to play and read.
In fact, it even felt like he had seen something like this before.
It didn't take long for Rokuko to come back to her senses since this was just her first time seeing this kind of decor in real life. She had played plenty of games that she had gotten from the dungeon system, so she was also aware of this style of decor.
After she came back to her senses, there was an excited look that appeared in her eyes.
After all, this was her first time seeing a place that was decorated like this.
This was a place that was just like her games.
It took no time at all for Rokuko to head over to one of the walls and try to grab a sword off that wall.
But before she could…
"What are you doing?"
There was a voice that suddenly rang out that caught her off guard.
It was to the point where it surprised her so much that she almost dropped the sword that she was carrying on herself. It was just lucky that Rokuko was able to catch the sword in time.
Though even if she wasn't, Lin Fan had already been prepared to catch it just in case.
"What do you think you're doing?" Haku's voice rang out after this voice that scared Rokuko fell.
The one that spoke earlier shook her head before saying with a sigh, "Your majesty, even if you dote on her, you shouldn't act this way. You and I both know that this sword is anything but normal and isn't something that should be touched that easily."
Rokuko looked a bit awkward and a bit afraid when she heard this, so she quickly put the sword back on the wall.
Haku however didn't seem like she wanted to end this matter here.
She narrowed her eyes to look at the maid who spoke before saying, "So? What does it matter if something happens to the sword? If my little sister wants to touch something, then she can touch whatever she wants."
The maid didn't seem convinced or scared by Haku's words.
Instead, the maid just shook her head again before saying with a sigh, "Your majesty, this sword is the sword that was used by the first emperor, your husband. This is a relic for our Laver Empire, something that shouldn't be touched that lightly."
Rokuko became even more careful when she heard this before looking at Haku with an apologetic look.
Only before she could say anything, Haku just wrapped her arms around Rokuko to say, "It's fine, you can touch whatever you want. Just treat this palace as your home and don't worry about it."
"Your majesty!" The maid said once again, but it didn't seem like Haku was listening with the way that she was focused on spoiling Rokuko.
That just made Rokuko look even more awkward hearing all of this.
During this time, Lin Fan couldn't help shaking his head and giving a sigh at all of this.
It seemed that Haku really hadn't changed at all.
Even though she was in front of her people, she didn't hold back at all in spoiling Rokuko.
Seeing this, Lin Fan couldn't help looking at the maid with a look of pity. But at the same time, there was a bit of an inquisitive feeling that filled him as he couldn't help wondering just who this maid was.
After all, this maid made it clear that she knew everything about Haku, which was why she was here in the first place. At the same time, it seemed that she wasn't afraid of Haku at all even though she was addressing her as 'your majesty'.
All of this was more than enough to show that the status of this maid wasn't simple.
This continued on for a bit before Rokuko finally moved away from Haku and came over to Lin Fan's side.
Haku glared at Lin Fan when she saw this, but Lin Fan wasn't afraid of her.
After Rokuko used Lin Fan as a shield, she poked her head out and looked at the maid to ask, "Who are you?"
Lin Fan turned to look at the maid too as he waited for the answer. He couldn't ask this question since it would be awkward for him to ask it, but it was different for Rokuko.
Haku glared at the maid after Rokuko asked this question as if she was jealous of her, but the maid just completely ignored Haku.
Instead the maid gave a slight bow to Rokuko and said, "Your highness, my name is Agnus. I am the head maid of this castle and the number one hero unit under her majesty Haku."
This bow was truly a perfect one, as expected of this castle's head maid.
But there was something that surprised Rokuko.
"Why did you call me your highness?" She asked in a confused voice.
The maid didn't raise her head as she continued, "Of course you're our highness. Since you are the younger sister of her majesty Haku, it's only natural that you're the princess of our Laver Empire."
It wasn't just Rokuko who was taken aback when she heard this, even Lin Fan was surprised to hear this.
After all, the whole little sister thing was something that Haku had forced onto Rokuko in the first place. Not to mention that this had been done because of the fact that they were both dungeon cores.
It wasn't as if anyone thought that there would be any implications outside of the dungeon core world.
But it seemed that Haku had actually made Rokuko into the princess of the Laver Empire when no one was looking.
Lin Fan couldn't help thinking what would have happened if Xiao Bai had come along.
There was no doubt that Haku would have arranged something for him as well since she was as obsessed with him as she was with Rokuko.
As if she could guess what he was thinking based on his expression, Agnus suddenly stood up and turned to look at Lin Fan to say, "Young master, you should be aware of your status as well. You're a foreign lord that is the betrothed of our princess, so please make sure that you don't forget this cover."
"Eh?" Lin Fan couldn't help saying with a surprised tone.
But he didn't get to ask anything else as Haku suddenly said, "Who told you to give him this identity? I clearly told you to prepare an identity as a commoner for him!"
With a sigh, Agnus said, "Your majesty, please do not let your personal feelings get in the way of this matter. If we did it as you requested, there is no doubt that there would have been many problems that sprouted up. This is the best way to handle this matter."
It really seemed like she didn't have any fear of Haku at all with the way that she spoke.
Haku looked like she wanted to complain even more, but then she turned to Rokuko and her face turned ugly. At first, it seemed like she wanted to complain to Rokuko about this, but then she saw the look on Rokuko's face.

There was a happy smile and a faint blush on her face after she heard what Agnus said.
She was even muttering, "Betrothed…"
It was clear what she was thinking, which was why Haku looked so unhappy.
Naturally she didn't want Rokuko to care about anyone but her, but there was nothing that she could do. If she actually did something and hurt Rokuko's feelings, then it would be her that would be hurt because of this.
As such, the only thing that Haku could actually do was glare at Lin Fan.
Lin Fan shook his head with a bitter smile, but he gave a nod to Agnus to show that he understood.
Agnus gave a nod back before walking over to the window and opening up the curtains.
When she opened them, there was a bright light that came through them.
Even though we had come to a different continent, it seemed that the day night cycle was still the same.
That was something that really made Lin Fan wonder if there was something different about this world that this was the case.
But then again, it wasn't as if he knew enough about this planet that he would be able to judge it based on the knowledge that he had. It was likely that this planet was completely different from the one that he had been on previously.
As such, he put those thoughts aside and looked out the window with Rokuko.
Spread out in front of them under the window was the capital city of the Laver Empire.
