World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World-Chapter 110: Contacting Mr Donovan
Chapter 110: Contacting Mr Donovan
Driving home, James thought of calling the number on the paper immediately but he stopped himself.
There was no need to rush things. According to what the old man at the shop said, it’s not guaranteed that Donovan will agree to coach him.
This means that he has to prepare himself before calling and setting up a with Donovan, as he would have to prove himself on that day.
James sighed to himself as he thought of all this.
"As long as I can set up a meeting with him, everything should work out. I’m sure of it," he muttered.
He focused his attention on the road, navigating the busy roads of Los Angeles. The next moment, the car’s call function alerted him that he has a call.
He took a look at it, to see who the caller might be and he saw that it was unknown number.
"Who could this be?" He thought to himself.
He quickly remembered the Senior Client Advisor at Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills, Morris, and he felt that it was probably him.
"It might be him," he said, as he picked the call.
"Hello, Mr James?" The familiar voice of the Senior Client Advisor came from the other end.
"Mr Morris," James replied, not taking his eyes off the road.
"Mr James, we have gotten the cars you wanted. All that is left is for you name the payment," Morris said.
"Good. How much is the total cost?" James asked.
"The Lexus LS500 cost $117, 200. The Audi A8 cost 94,300. The —" Morris was about to continue but was cut short by James.
"I understand Mr Morris. I mean the combined cost for the four cars," James said.
"$604,900, sir," Mr Morris replied, and James nodded.
"Send me the account details and I will transfer the my money there. You can transfer it separately later. Is that alright by you?" James asked.
"Yes, sir. We will have the cars waxed their tanks filled up with gas before they are delivered tomorrow," Mr Morris said.
"Thank you," James said, and hung up.
James smiled as he thought of the cars being delivered tomorrow. He was happy that his garage is a 12-car garage, or he would be finding himself at a loss as to where to park them.
With the six cars being delivered tomorrow, the total number of cars in the mansion will go up to 9.
When they initially moved into the house, James thought that the garage space was too much. But with the cars coming now, he feels that it’s too small.
"How funny life is. And it’s been less than two months since we moved in," he muttered.
James decided to take his mind off the cars and focus on more important things. The first of them is calling Mr Donovan when he gets home and setting up a meeting with him, and the second is to start preparing for his dinner date with Natasha.
It’s almost noon and there’s still a long time before the date which is later in the night, but James is fully aware how time flies these days.
"Seems like I will borrowing Leslie’s car. I wonder if she will let me borrow it?" James thought.
Since he can’t take Koenigsegg Gemera out, the Range Rover Autobiography and the Chevrolet Trax are the only options he has. And he prefers the Chevrolet Trax which is Leslie’s.

Twenty minutes later, he parked the car in the garage and got out of the car. He opened the trunk and brought down all the bags inside, before locking it.
He picked the bags, making sure that his hands could hold everything, opened the smaller door of the garage that connects to the mansion and stepped out of the garage.
He made his way to the living room and when Leslie, and Patty saw him walking towards them with so much in his hand, Leslie sprang up from her position and went to help him.
"Wow. So much," she said, as she took two bags off his hands.
"Yeah." James smiled, as he nodded slightly at Patty in greeting and made his way upstairs.
"I didn’t know you play golf," Leslie said, following beside him.
"I’m just picking it up," James replied.
"Ohhh... That’s nice. Maybe when you’re an expert, you can teach me too," Leslie smiled, as she winked at him mischievously.
James nodded, as he smiled and shook his head at the same time.
The two of them made their to James’ room and when they got there, James opened the door and they walked in. They walked to the wardrobe and dropped the bags in front of it.
After that, Leslie plopped into his bed, giggling. She looked at James who was shaking his head at her and smiled.
"Come join me," she said, smiling with open arms.
"I’m sorry, Les. I’m busy right now. Mayne another time," James said, as he made his way to the door and left the room.
He would had loved to join her in bed, especially with how sexy she’s looking right now. And he would love for the two of them roll around in bed but he still had to contact Mr Donovan and he’s yet to transfer the payment for the cars.
Behind him, Leslie pouted. Her small red lips jutted out, and her electric blue eyes dimmed slightly.
She watched him leave, her chest rising and falling, the fabric of her crop top pulling tight across her curves.
When the door clicked shut, Leslie sighed deeply.
"Please, James," she whispered so low it was almost inaudible.
"Please feel the same way."
Unable to help herself, she slipped off the bed, smoothed out the sheets neatly — then bent down, pressing her face into his pillow and inhaled deeply.
James’ scent filled her senses — crisp, clean, comforting — and her heart fluttered wildly in her chest.
She pulled away quickly, cheeks burning, and rushed out of the room, slamming the door lightly behind her.

Meanwhile, in the study. James took his seat, brought out his phone, and started typing a message for Mr Donovan.
After a few minutes, he was done and it reads:
"Hello Mr. Rick, this is James Zolomon. I was referred to you today by Mr Chris from Rogers Dunn Golf Shops, regarding private golf coaching and membership guidance. l’d love to set up a time to meet and discuss if you’re available this week. Thank you for your time."
After making sure that there was no error, he sent the message. Now, all he have to do will be to wait for a response from him.
While he waited, he turned his attention to other things. He copied the bank details that Mr Morris sent and made the payment for the cars.
James got a message from Mr Morris the next moment, confirming the transaction on his own end.
James smiled and nodded in satisfaction when he saw this. He was about to drop his phone when he suddenly remembered his date tonight and grabbed his phone again.
Quickly, he texted Natasha:
"I’ll pick you up at 7 PM."
He hit send — and as expected, within seconds, Natasha replied with a string of excited hearts, kissy faces, and sparkle emojis.
James chuckled under his breath.
"She’s really excited about this."
He shook his head fondly. Natasha was sweet. Maybe too sweet for the world he was building — but he was willing to see where things led.
After he had done that, he sighed and relaxed back on the chair.
"I wonder when I’m going to get a response," James thought.
Just as he was about to put the phone down again, it buzzed sharply.
A new message.
James blinked — it was a reply from Mr. Donovan.
Heart steady but speeding up slightly, he tapped open the message.
