Lia Aiken laughed at her phone, this junior was really acting like a worrywart mom.

But having a junior who liked her so much, who might also become her little sister-in-law in the future, made Lia feel lucky.

Lia was well aware of Ivan Horne's doting on Lena.

"It's Lena, right?"

Ivan Horne opened the car door for Lia like a gentleman, seeing her expression, he guessed it was his sister calling.

"It's her. She said she knew you were here, so she called back the driver she had arranged. But I always feel like all of this today was her orchestration." Her junior was full of mischief; the first time she met Lena, she thought Lena was a cunning girl.

Lia saw a bouquet of flowers on the passenger seat.

Before she could pick it up, Ivan was faster and handed the bouquet to her, his deep black eyes gazing at her tenderly, and his affection for her was completely unhidden at this moment.

Lia was a generous woman, but being looked at like this, she felt her face getting warm, she guessed it was burning red. It was strange; when she first met him, she wasn't afraid of him at all. No matter how he stared at her, she could remain calm and composed.

Now that they were in a romantic relationship, she had learned to feel bashful.

"Lia, these flowers are picked from my yard and wrapped by my own hands. It may not be packaged as nicely, but seeing it as my personal touch, I hope you accept it with a smile. It's just that early in the morning, it wouldn't be right to knock on the flower shop's door." So he simply took scissors to cut the roses in the yard, wrapped them up himself, and brought the bouquet to Lia.

Hmm, the flowers in the yard were all ones his mother liked. His father always doted on his mother, whatever his mother liked, his father would bring home. Now he secretly snipped a big bundle, hoping his dad's face wouldn't be too dark.

Having seen much of his parents' love, Ivan had plenty of ways to please a girl.

Throughout all of T City, who could pamper a wife more than his father?

Like father, like son, right?

Lia smiled and accepted the bouquet, lowering her head to examine the flowers. He had wrapped it just as skillfully as the girls in the flower shop. Lifting her gaze, she looked at him with a smile and praised, "You've got hands as skillful as a woman's."

Seeing her happy, Ivan couldn't help inching closer, patting one side of his face, and affectionately saying, "Lia, your boyfriend personally picked these flowers, wrapped them, and brought them to you. Isn't it worth a little something in return from you?"

Lia's already blushing face turned even redder.

"Let's go, don't keep Lena waiting." Lia lightly pinched his handsome face, hugged the bouquet, and got into the car first.

Ivan touched the spot where she had pinched, getting into the car while pretending to complain, "So your reaction to being moved is to pinch my face. Good thing I only gave you one bouquet. If I gave you more, my face would be all pinched into a bun."

Lia couldn't help but burst into laughter at his teasing.

After he closed the car door and buckled his seatbelt, ready to drive, she boldly leaned over and kissed him lightly on the cheek, like a feather brushing gently, making Ivan itch with desire. Since she bravely took this step, he didn't need to worry about scaring her.

Anyway, from confessing to courting her, asking her to be his girlfriend—it had all been pretty fast. She would have been scared by now if that was the case.

Pushing him away slightly, Lia sat, her face as red as fire, the bouquet slipping from her lap. She quickly picked it up, then turned to look out the window, listening to Ivan's low laughter. She turned her head and gave him a shy glare, lightly scolding him, "Aren't you going to drive? Lena is waiting for us at home to have breakfast."

Ivan's eyes were gentle; Lia had never seen this side of him before.

The tenderness in his eyes was like a web enveloping her entirely. Lia couldn't help but sigh; this man was indeed a lady-killer. Even someone as composed as she was easily captured by him.

Fortunately, they both had mutual feelings for each other; otherwise, a one-sided love affair would be tormenting.

Lia could understand how women who secretly liked Ivan felt.

Ivan leaned over, and Lia quickly covered her mouth; Ivan suddenly burst into laughter, making Lia furiously embarrassed, reaching out to pinch his arm.

"Ouch."

The young master Ivan cried out in pain, but the smile was so obvious in his eyes and brows.

While starting the engine and moving the car, he laughed, "I used to see my dad annoy my mom to the point where she'd pinch him like that, and he laughed even more foolishly than I do. Lia, your reaction is just like my mom's. Seems like you're destined to join the Horne family."

Lia: "..."

Can this guy move any faster?

Lia, with a touch of feminine modesty, said, "We just started. Who knows if we'll reach the other side of love? So many women like you, what if someone snatches you away? I'm too lazy to fight to get you back."

Ivan quickly said, "Don't worry, no one can take me away from you." And no one can take her away from him! "The men of the Horne family are quite devoted, you can rest assured about that."
