The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System
Chapter 784 - A world of the mind
"I-is this... a world of the mind? Do you have a world of the mind?" Yunxi’s voice trembled the moment she materialized beside Qingyi, Rou’er, and Xue Hua.
Her blue eyes widened slowly as she observed the scene around her, her feline pupils contracting at the vastness stretching out before her.
It took only a single moment for her to recognize what it was.
In the next second, a profound shock washed over her entire face, her lips parting soundlessly.
There were many things she believed she would never see in her lifetime.
A mind world was at the top of that list.
Across the entire Celestial Realm, the number of experts capable of possessing such a thing could be counted on the fingers of one hand.
Within the Celestial Martial Alliance itself, only two known names possessed the ability to create and maintain their own mind world.
Both were ancient experts—beings who had dedicated hundreds of thousands of years solely to cultivating and strengthening their inner worlds.
It wasn’t simply a matter of talent. Any expert who dreamed of a mind world needed to devote a significant portion of their practically eternal life to this single goal.
That was precisely why they were so rare.
A five-hundred-thousand-year-old celestial emperor would need to devote four hundred and fifty thousand of those years just to form a mediocre inner world, and even then, success was hardly guaranteed.
Qingyi was far from being one of those ancient experts—quite the opposite, in fact.
He was young, strong, and talented, yes, but he didn’t possess even a fraction of a fraction of the age required to even begin forging a mind world of his own.
"It’s not mine," Qingyi replied casually, the corners of his lips curving slightly.
"That sword I used to teleport us here is the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword. It was forged by the divine blacksmith of the Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance himself."
"Ah..." For a brief moment, a trace of understanding softened Bai Yunxi’s features.
A second later, however, that trace vanished completely, replaced by a shock even more overwhelming than the last.
The tigress’s beautiful blue eyes widened as much as they could, the feline ears atop her head pricking up immediately.
"D-divine blacksmith?" It took her a full moment just to process his words.
In the Immortal Realm, the number of people capable of recognizing the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword was minuscule. It was perfectly natural that she hadn’t identified it at first glance.
After all, she lived in the isolated northern region.
She had heard stories about the Divine Blacksmith, of course, but her knowledge didn’t really extend much beyond that.
It took a long moment before a name finally came to mind.
The Venerable Celestial Sword Fairy, the most talented swordswoman in the history of the northern region.
She possessed twin swords forged by the divine blacksmith’s own hands—who happened to be her father.
She was one of the most revered beings in all of the Celestial Heavens, and the news of her death had prompted a ten-day period of mourning, not only in the Central Region but in several other regions as well.
When news broke that her body had been stolen by the Heavenly Demon, it was said that every cultivator, from the most insignificant to the most powerful, would be willing to march to the central region to join an assault against the demonic region, forcibly wresting it from the clutches of that monster.
Such a march, however, never took place. At that time, the Celestial Realm was still recovering from the damage caused by the maddened Dragon God of Corruption.
No one was in a position to plunge into yet another bloody war.
"Are you talking about the left sword of the Venerable Celestial Sword Fairy?" she asked, just to confirm, her voice coming out softer than she’d intended.
Everyone knew that the left sword of that legendary swordswoman harbored a world of its own.
"Yes... Well, actually, the spirit of the sword. Her name is Ruxue, and she’s also my wife," Qingyi replied, raising a hand toward the tigress’s voluminous silvery-white hair.
His open palm settled gently between her feline ears, his fingers sinking into the silky strands as he stroked the top of her head with an playful tenderness.
Her hair felt impossibly soft beneath his touch, each silvery lock slipping through his fingers like cool, flowing silk.
Her furry ears twitched at the unexpected touch before gradually relaxing, leaning ever so faintly into the warmth of his palm.
For a brief moment, Yunxi’s striped tail swayed behind her in slow, hesitant arcs, a subtle blush blooming across her cheeks and creeping all the way up to the tips of her feline ears.
Her eyes slowly drifted to the side, resting on Xue Hua and Rou’er. "Did you two know about this the whole time?"
Only the absurd size of Qingyi’s cock had been capable of shocking her as much as this did now.
"Yes!" Rou’er nodded excitedly, a beaming smile plastered on her face as she clapped her hands lightly.
"Big Brother Qingyi is amazing, isn’t he? He even has Big Sister Qianyao—the daughter of the Golden Immortal Dragon of the Celestial Martial Alliance himself—as one of his wives!"
Those words made Yunxi’s shock run even deeper; her mouth opened slightly, though she couldn’t manage to make a sound.
As a direct descendant of the Myriad Beasts Sect and someone who maintained a good relationship with her ancestor, she was one of only seven people in the entire sect who knew the truth.
That bear was, in reality, a celestial empress and the main wife of the Immortal Golden Dragon Emperor—the being who had essentially founded the cultivation world in the celestial heavens, an existence from millions of years ago.
She also knew that Long Tianjin was a direct descendant of the Immortal Golden Dragon Emperor, being the great-great-grandson of his second wife.
She herself was descended from one of the two children the Immortal Golden Dragon Emperor had had with his first wife, and was also the great-great-granddaughter of that ancestor.
The bear’s daughter had disappeared very early on, with many claiming she had died, while her son took too long to have children of his own and eventually perished in a celestial tribulation shortly thereafter.
Although it was a closely guarded secret, she was, in effect, Tianjin’s third-degree cousin.
