Chapter 123: Faking an injury

His strides large, Yu Wen rushed out if the tent like he was fleeing the scene of the crime. Alex, who was walking towards his tent, looked back, and he was a little surprised to see the general running out like his ass was on fire.

Lucky for Yu Wen, it was dark otherwise, he would have seen his situation down south. His dick was pressing hard against his pants. It was pressing hard against his pants to the point that the seams were almost bursting.

Alex called out, "General? Did you forget something?"

Yu Wen, who was fleeing for his life, looked over, and his steps paused. He finally let go of the breath had been holding back. "Uh... I am fine. I just needed some fresh air." Despite clearing his throat, his voice sounded gruff, making Alex’s brows crease.

"Sir, are you unwell?" he asked as he walked over, but Yu Wen raised his hand to stop him from coming over.

"I am fine. Just go and rest. It’s going to be a busy day tomorrow," he said, and Alex, though unconvinced, nodded his head.

"Alright. Rest early as well." After Alex left, Yu Wen sighed deeply before walking away. His throat felt unbearably dry, so he walked towards the supply station and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.

He twisted the cap and gulped three-quarters of the bottle in one go. Droplets of water dripped down his chin. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and sat down with a sigh.

He closed his eyes, taking deep, relaxing breath. He was trying to calm the storm that was stirring up in his pants, but it was proving to be an impossible task. When he closed his eyes, he would see Li Jun, lying on his bed, his breathy voice calling out his name as he stroked his hardness.

Li Jun’s back was arched off the bed, sweat trickling down his forehead, and those sweet lips he had dreamt of devouring day and night were parted as he gasped. Yu Wen regretted it. He should have gone in. He should have taken the chance even at the risk of Li Jun getting mad at him.

Yu Wen sat there for an hour before he could consider going back to his tent. He wasn’t sure if Li Jun would have left, but he couldn’t sleep on this chair. He got up and walked back to his tent. The place was much quieter than before. It was like nothing ever happened.

Trying not to make a sound, he walked towards the other room. Li Jun hadn’t left. He was lying still on the bed, his limbs sprawled out and the hem of his T-shirt riding up his waist.

Yu Wen called out, "Li Jun," his voice barely above a whisper, and that was on purpose. He didn’t want to wake him. He just wanted to be sure that the man was sleeping. When Li Jun didn’t answer, he called him a few more times just to be sure.

The best he got out of Li Jun was just a mumble. Yu Wen took off his jacket and hung it up. As he took off his shirt, he said, "Ah-Jun, please don’t blame me. You took over my bed, so where am I supposed to sleep?"

Yu Wen changed into a pair of sweatpants. Just as he was about to put on his T-shirt, he froze. He decided not to wear it. If he wanted to pursue Li Jun, he would have to give up some candy.

Shirtless, he walked towards the bed and lay down. He gathered Li Jun into his arms, and Li Jun was complacent. He even pressed his butt against Yu Wen’s crotch while trying to sleep comfortably. Yu Wen’s lips curled as he embraced Li Jun.

"Ah-Jun, do you know who I am?" he asked. He was genuinely curious to see if Li Jun would answer and, if he did, what sort of answer he would give him. "Li Jun," he whispered when the man didn’t answer.

Just when he thought Li Jun wouldn’t say anything, the man mumbled, "Wen-ge, stop making a fuss. I am tired." When Yu Wen heard that, he smiled brightly like he had just won a grand prize.

"Okay, I am sorry," he said, his fingers entwined with Li Jun’s. Just then, Li Jun shuffled around to face him. In a sleep haze, he leaned close and planted a kiss on Yu Wen’s lips. It was a fleeting kiss, but it was enough to make Yu Wen’s heart melt.

He bit his lower lip, his gaze locked on the sleeping Li Jun. He kissed the crown of the man’s head and hugged him closer. Yu Wen didn’t know when he fell asleep. He woke up at sunrise, which was much later than his usual time to wake up.

Li Jun was still asleep in his arms, his head buried in the crook of Yu Wen’s neck. Yu Wen didn’t dare to move. He just smiled, his fingers running through Li Jun’s hair. The two of them stayed like this for twenty minutes.

Yu Wen would have loved for the moment to last even longer, but he knew that was impossible. Li Jun smirked before slowly opening his eyes. When his eyes opened, he was met by a solid wall of muscles.

His fingers caressed the pectoral with a soft hum. He seemed to like the feeling, so he groped and fondled a couple of times. Yu Wen, unable to bear it anymore, said, "How long are you going to keep touching?"

Li Jun’s eyes flew wide open, and he fell off the bed. Yu Wen tried to catch him, but it was too late. Yu Wen, with a look of concern in his eyes, asked, "Are you okay?"

Like an injured soccer player exaggerating his injuries, he groaned while holding his butt like it had been broken. "AAAAAHHHH, it hurts."

Yu Wen was so concerned that he asked, "Where does it hurt? Tell me so I can help you."

Li Jun said, "My butt. My butt hurts."

Without any hesitation, Yu Wen began to massage his butt. Li Jun groaned in satisfaction before saying, "Don’t stop... Ah, just like that." Yu Wen looked at Li Jun. His expression looked almost as seductive as it that last night.

Yu Wen leaned a little closer to those tantalising pink lips. Just as their lips were about to touch, Li Jun broke the spell. He said, "Thank you."

Their gazes met, and for a second they just stared at each other. Li Jun suddenly asked, "What are you doing in my room?"

His brow arched, Yu Wen said, "Shouldn’t I be asking you that?"

Li Jun looked around, and his memory suddenly came back. Last night, he came to see Yu Wen, but the man wasn’t there. So he lay down on his bed and jerked off. Having realised what he had done, he sat up while swearing, "Fuck."

Just then, there was a loud explosion in the distance. The two of them looked in the direction where the sound came from. The romantic atmosphere came to an abrupt end.

Yu Wen got dressed, and the two of them rushed out. Yu Wen asked Alex, who had rushed over, what the hell was happening. In a hurry, Alex said, "They used a kid. They used a kid from Elora to infiltrate our camp and explode the place."

Hearing this, Li Jun almost lost his mind. He clenched his fist tightly till his knuckles turned white. Enraged, he asked, "Where is their base camp?"

Alex looked at Yu Wen, and Yu Wen nodded slightly. Having received Yu Wen’s permission, he said, "We know they are in three possible locations."

"Then we attack all three. There must be children they are holding hostage, so an aerial attack wouldn’t work."

While they were coming up with a plan to slip into the Helion temporary camp, Li Yu was in the car driving towards the front lines. She had escaped from the imperial palace and had been travelling for more than a week already.

She wouldn’t even allow herself to rest. She knew that Yu Wen wouldn’t welcome her with open arms, so she brought with her elite soldiers from Aurelia’s army. She was hoping this would give her an opening.

Li Yu wasn’t the only one headed in that direction. Helion’s seer was also heading towards the frontlines. Why? It was because he wanted to end Li Jun and Yu Wen with his own hand.

He couldn’t trust Xiu Ying to finish the job. He had to make sure that the job was finished otherwise, not only would Xiu Ying, but he would also have a terrible end. They would all have a terrible end.

Using Aurelia’s children was his suggestion. It was to draw Li Jun and Yu Wen out. The pair wouldn’t sit by and watch innocent children be used in a war that had nothing to do with them. The children were bait.
