"You bitch!" Old Madam Lei was a countryside woman. She had schemed against Old Master Lei to marry him; thus, even though she had stayed as the head of the Lei family for so many years, she could still not get rid of her shrew-like attitude. She glared at Bai Meiyue like a poisonous snake and spoke to her in an angry voice, "Who are you to butt in on our matter? This is our family matter. Leave us to take care of it."

Bai Meiyue narrowed her eyes, and a second later, Old Madam Lei found her tongue frozen. She tried to speak, but her tongue wouldn't move and stayed stuck to the roof of her mouth. Seeing this, Second Aunt Lei screamed while pointing at Bai Meiyue, "What did you do?"

Just as she shouted, Father Lei and Mother Lei arrived on the third floor after hearing what happened from Lei Yan. They saw Second Aunt Lei pointing at Bai Meiyue and scolding her while Old Madam Lei was trying to pull something down from the roof of her mouth.

It was only when they came close that they realised what it was.

"What's going on?" Father Lei asked with surprise in his eyes.

"Brother-in-law! It's a good thing that you came here, or else we would be bullied to death by these people," shouted Second Aunt Lei. She was still pointing at Bai Meiyue, who said, "Drop that finger or I will freeze it until you have to amputate it."

Hearing the threat in her words, Second Aunt Lei turned to glare at Bai Meiyue. "You!"

She never thought that Bai Meiyue would be this arrogant in front of Father Lei and Mother Lei. Nonetheless, she still dropped her hand to her side. She then turned to look at Father Lei and spoke to him in an aggrieved voice, "Brother-in-law, look at this. These people are bullying us so much. Ah Wu simply said a few kind words, and yet they—"

"Aunt, there is no need to say anything anymore." Lei Yan interrupted her aunt; she knew that this woman never said anything good. Every time she opened her mouth and complained to her father, she would twist and turn her waist like a little vixen.

If not for the fact that Lei Yan had to control her words, as Second Aunt Lei was her elder, she would have asked this woman what she was trying to do.
