Are You Crazy? You're Telling Me This Is a Fugitive TV Show?-Chapter 242: Everyone Has Weaknesses! You’re Looking in the Wrong Direction!
“These two are Captains Bayim and Kalami from Oil Nation,” the staff member introduced. “Captain Bayim is known for his ‘money summoning’ skill. As he puts it, if you need money, just ask him.”
The staff member couldn’t help but smile at this, continuing, “Of course, I’m kidding. Captain Bayim is a national-level swimmer, though we might not need his swimming skills for now. But it’s always good to be prepared. The other captain, Kalami, is a retired scout known as ‘Eagle Eye.’”
After the introduction, Wu Mingyu quickly extended his hand. “Welcome aboard. Let’s work hard together.”
Both men nodded.
“We’ve studied all of Wang Yun’s skills. He’s formidable,” Bayim said. “But no matter how strong someone is, they have weaknesses. Your approach is wrong. You need to find Wang Yun’s weaknesses before making a move.”
Bayim smiled, though his eyes held a hint of disdain.
Wu Mingyu showed no reaction, simply saying, “We look forward to seeing your skills.”
With another powerful nation joining, the number of Captains in the show’s headquarters steadily increased. Meanwhile, Wang Yun’s team still consisted of just four people.
The headquarters was now on full alert, and Wang Yun’s side was also prepared. Night fell quickly.
The headquarters was pitch dark that night, a stark contrast to the usual bright lights.
“Boss, I’m all set over here,” Brother Hu reported.
He and Wang Zi were positioned around the headquarters, watching carefully from the shadows. Wang Yun and Little Gang were on a rooftop across from the headquarters.
“Hold off for now. Something’s off in there,” Wang Yun instructed, peering into the darkness.
The windows were completely covered, hiding everything inside. The unusual silence made Wang Yun wary. frёewebηovel.cѳm
“It seems they’ve anticipated my plan. But even if they did, it won’t change anything,” he muttered darkly.
He was determined to make them pay dearly.
Wang Yun then pulled a rope from his backpack.
“Let me go first. Follow my instructions before taking action.”
After speaking into the walkie-talkie, Wang Yun expertly tossed the grappling hook onto the rooftop of the adjacent building. He avoided hooking onto the roof of the program building to minimize noise and risk of detection. The targeted rooftop was about ten meters away from the headquarters building’s roof.
With a smooth motion, Wang Yun slid across the rope, moving swiftly and silently. His movement blended into the night, making him almost invisible.
Inside the program headquarters, all the international Captains were gathered in the meeting room.
“Wang Yun is likely to make his move within the next couple of days. Our current strategy is to stay put and wait for him,” Wu Mingyu addressed the group. His voice was low and serious.
This time, no one objected. Wang Yun’s intentions were clear. Since they couldn’t catch him, they decided to wait for him to come to them.
“If he doesn’t act within seventy-two hours, are we supposed to stay here indefinitely?” Bayim spoke up.
As a new member, he wasn’t familiar with Wu Mingyu’s authority and reputation within the team.
“He will act within three days,” Ying Yuezi reassured Bayim.
Bayim smiled slightly and glanced at Captain Kalami. “Since you all are so confident, we won’t argue. However, you cannot interfere with our actions. From the start, your methods have been flawed. We propose to work independently and rely on our own skills.”
After saying this, Bayim and Kalami stood up. Wu Mingyu’s brows furrowed at their actions.
“What’s the meaning of this, Captains?” Wu Mingyu asked.
“Nothing special. We plan to act on our own and do not wish to form an alliance,” Bayim replied, ready to leave.
Werner immediately stood up, seriously addressing them. “I understand your perspective, but you don’t yet comprehend Wang Yun’s capabilities. Working together is the best strategy right now. We need your strength, and it would be beneficial for all of us to stay together for three days. If nothing happens, then you can act independently.”
Werner tried to persuade them with good intentions.
“Captain Werner is right. We’re all elites here, and no one likes the idea of an alliance, but we don’t have a choice. Wang Yun is just too formidable,” Vasda added. “If you act alone, you’ll regret it.”
Karami and Bayim shrugged, unmoved.
“I understand your concerns, but I don’t believe Wang Yun will act in the next three days. Even if he does, I doubt you’ll catch him. When I arrived, I told Captain Wu that your approach is flawed. You need to target his weaknesses. For the sake of our cooperation, I’m sharing this. Good luck.”
Bayim and Karami gave a mocking wave to the group and walked out, leaving everyone a bit frustrated. Hardy, however, laughed in glee.
“Let them go. If they don’t listen, they’ll learn the hard way,” Hardy said with a smirk.
“Weaknesses? Flawed approach?” Ying Yuezi pondered aloud, thinking about what Captain Karami had said.
“What weaknesses could Wang Yun possibly have?” Ying Yuezi looked around, asking both herself and the others.
Everyone shook their heads.
“For someone so ruthless and versatile, he probably doesn’t have any weaknesses,” one of them said.
“Don’t listen to those arrogant guys. What makes them think they have the right approach?” Wang Yue grumbled.
Ying Yuezi shook her head slightly, her eyes narrowing. “I have a bad feeling about this. They might cause trouble.”
After she spoke, no one responded. To them, Bayim and Karami were not their concern.

Meanwhile, Wang Yun had just landed on the rooftop and noticed a car pulling up to the headquarters building.
“Boss, a car just pulled up,” Brother Hu reported immediately.
“Probably just food delivery. They need to eat, right?” Little Gang joked.
“Have you ever seen a delivery car like that?” Brother Hu scoffed.
“Wait, who are those guys with the headscarves?” Brother Hu and Little Gang watched as two men with headscarves stepped out of the car, scanning their surroundings cautiously. Then another person stepped out of the car.
As soon as Wang Yun saw this person, a dark, ominous aura enveloped him.
