Chapter 216: Want To Meet Up?

Jules pov

The first thing I saw on opening my phone the next morning was a text from Taylor, asking if we could meet up to talk later today. I instantly felt irritated as I reread the simple text over and over again.

If I hadn’t known his actual intention, I’d have definitely agreed to this. But after finding out that all what he did was just for his own gain, I didn’t want anything to do with him, I didn’t even want to confront him because I didn’t think it was necessary any longer.

Blaze wasn’t in bed when I woke up, but on exiting the large bedroom, I noticed him returning into the looking sweaty as fuck.

"I went to the gym." He explained as he tugged his tank top off which was previously sticking to his muscles and abs.

I swallowed emptily and averted my gaze while my cheeks colored a little.

"You alright, bunny?" He drawled and I nodded as I whirled around into the kitchen.

"Yup, I am." I called out as I threw the fridge door open. Blaze hummed like he didn’t believe me, he was currently standing in the kitchen doorway and I could feel his eyes burning into my back.

"So... do you feel sore?" He asked and I stiffened, mouth growling dry as I slowly turned around. I bit on my bottom lip and shook my head, head feeling a little light.

I was feeling a little sore after last night pounding, but he didn’t need to know that.

"Good." He echoed, his lips twitching as he proceeded to fold his hand, taking up the entire space of the doorway.

He was so distracting this way and I’m starting to believe he was currently doing this on purpose.

"We have school today." I reminded him as he began to make his way towards me. He snorted as he walked me backwards till my back was touching the fridge, then he proceeded to place his hands on top of said fridge which was taller than I was, trapping me against it. freewebnσvel.cøm

"We could... skip it, y’know?" He suggested, eyes dancing as he spoke and I swallowed emptily while trying not to breathe in too much of his scent right now.

"I’m falling behind, I can’t." I tell him, voice breathless and he chuckled before loosely wrapping his fingers around my throat.

"I said I could tutor you, didn’t I? I always keep to my word, you know that." He reminded me as he tilted my head up. My eyes kept shifting between his naked chest and his face as I tried to gather my thoughts.

"I don’t want people to start judging everything I do because we’re now together, so I think I should keep doing everything others are doing... at least for now." I added the last part to appease him and it still didn’t do much because he still looked unpleased, but he ended up reluctantly agreeing.

"Before we go, I get to eat you out first, because even though we’re currently in the kitchen, you’re the only meal I’m interested in."

"Wanna hang out later today?" Elio asked, eyes straight ahead before meeting mine. We were currently in the hallway of the school and we’ve been standing here for a couple of minutes.

"Hang out? Yeah, sure. Why not?" I responded and he smiled a little.

"Cool. I still can’t believe you won’t be staying in the preys dominators any longer." He continued and I huffed out a small laugh, I couldn’t believe it either.

I was about to say something before a student approached us, holding a bunch of books in his arm.

"Jules?" He called out and I felt myself stiffen a little as I stood straight.

"Here I am." I tell him and he glanced at his book for a moment.

"The principal has requested your presence, he’s in his office." He explained and then he walked off before I could ask him anything. I remained in the same spot, feeling shocked and confused.

"The principal? Isn’t he dead?" I echoed out and Elio shrugged beside me.

"The old one is, but I heard he has already been replaced." He explained and I blinked in surprise.

"Oh." I mumbled.

"Does this happen a lot? Principals dying and getting replaced?" I asked and he nodded.

I

"For the past two years, we’ve run through five principles, I believe." He explained and I was really surprised. My mind instantly traveled to the conversation I had with Blaze in my dorm, whereby he admitted to have killed two principals before Eugene.

"So, want me to see you off?" He offered and I bit on my bottom lip while trying to figure out if it was a good idea for me to go there or not. I didn’t need anyone to tell me that this new principal is as corrupt as the rest of the past principals.

"I don’t think I’m gonna go." I told Elio and his eyes widened.

"You won’t? He might not like it, you’re supposed to answer a call like this immediately." He offered.

He might be right, but now I have Blaze, right? Which means I can refuse to answer calls like this one, isn’t that right?

"I have a bad feeling about it, so I’m not gonna answer it." I explained to Elio who slowly nodded.

"That’s understandable, and you’re now like royalty anyway, you can do whatever you want." He pointed out with a small laugh and I sighed softly, while wondering how he’d react if he get to know my secret, and also that I’ve always been royalty.

"I’ll need to go take something." I tell him as I pull away from the locker I’ve been leaning against. Elio waved at me.

"Don’t forget this afternoon, we’re supposed to hang out."

I nodded and returned the wave. "I won’t."

I walked into the elevator and slumped against the wall, and when the doors began to slide open, my eyes opened, and my heart almost burst out of my chest on noticing that the student who had just stepped in, had his face covered by something.
