Carnivals: Claimed By The Deranged Alpha Prince [BL]-Chapter 39: The Trip
Chapter 39: The Trip
Jules’ pov
The trip which everyone but me was looking forward to, finally commenced today.
It’s apparently gonna last for two weeks and I wasn’t looking forward to it one bit. My only consolation was that I’d be able to leave the premises.
Meanwhile Taylor was bursting with excitement and I was putting on an act for him.
He offered to help me with packing but I declined. It didn’t take me that long to pack everything I needed for the trip, and as I pulled my box out of the room to the sitting room, I found my roommate in the kitchen, downing a can of drink. His box was in the sitting room as well, and for a fleeting moment, I considered striking a conversation with him because it still rubs me off the wrong way that we’re both roommates but aren’t on great terms.
But before I could speak, he was leveling me a scathing look, one which caused me to huff and roll my eyes.
"Sheesh, you’re so unnecessarily difficult." I pointed out to him, watching as he scoffed before walking past me, making sure to knock my shoulder along the way.
I turned around and stared as he grabbed his box and began to head towards the door. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
"What even is your deal with me?" I called out and he slowed to a stop behind the closed door.
"You’ve hated me since I arrived and even though I tried trying to be civil with you, you’ve been nothing but rude to me." I continued and after about a minute, he turned around to stare at me, then he let out a mocking laugh.
"Are you feeling pity for yourself? Just because I’ve refused to not lick your feet like those two dumb fools that follow you around have been doing?" He demanded and I flinched at once.
"I assure you that you’d be just fine even though you and I are not on good terms, alright?"
Even though he was done speaking, I couldn’t help but wonder what he meant by what he said about Taylor and Josh.
He’s clearly wrong.
Taylor and Josh are not with me because of any sort of benefits, they’re only with me because they actually want to be my friends.
I ended up puffing out a long breath before speaking.
"I’m not asking you to be friends with me or to lick my feet, I just don’t want you to be at my neck everytime, especially when I’ve never wronged you." My voice was calm as I spoke, but I was boiling with anger on the inside because of what my roommate had insinuated about Taylor and Josh, I found that very insulting.
"Well, I’m gonna keep doing whatever I want and you won’t be able to do anything about it. I’m certain it must suck for you that your dad’s money can’t make me magically start bowing at your feet." He scorned out, face morphed in a sneer and I flinched a little at the aggressiveness he was letting off.
"I don’t use money for an–" As I started to speak, my roommate let out a laugh which made me trail off.
"Oh, yeah? Let’s talk about the most recent, shall we? Let’s talk about how you’re the omega in this school who got accepted into the fraternity without having to do the initiation. That was daddy’s money at work, we both know that so don’t bother denying it."
I blinked at him in confusion.
To begin with, I no longer have a father, he got murdered along with the rest of my family, and I’m very certain Andrian had no idea of the existence of fraternity, much less the initiation. So, there was no way he had been the reason why I had gotten out of that situation, right?
Before I could respond to my roommate, he was scoffing and turning around to step out of the dorm with his box in tow.
Once the door closed after him, I remained in the same spot, mind whirling around.

The regular students journeyed the road trip through a very large bus, while the special students were provided with a private plane. The entire students in the bus hooted as we watched the plane rise in the air and disappeared in the cloud.
The road trip commenced and lasted a good eight hours. By the time we arrived at our destination, everyone was tired and hungry.
We all alighted the bus and were ushered into a large hall. I made sure to stick beside Taylor throughout.
We’re all dressed in normal clothes and I was dressed in my usual dark clothes, while Taylor took this opportunity to go all out in his dressing, and I was certain that this was how he was gonna keep going all out throughout the two weeks we’d be spending here.
"Everyone, listen up." A guy from our class who was crowned class head, had a clipboard in his hand and a mic in the other.
I craned my head to see, but the people standing in front of me made that very difficult. Josh, who was standing beside me asked if I was okay and I was quick to reassure him that I was.
The class head was starting to say something once again and I made sure to concentrate, not wanting to miss any important information. He was saying something about the batch of students who arrived here through flight having already picked out rooms first, and would have to pick their roommates first, before other students gets to pick from what’s left.
I turned towards Taylor, asking him what that meant. He made a face as he spoke. "It’s just a ruse for the special students to select any student they’ve been eying as their roommate. The school is aware of this and continues to give them more power and access to pull off stuff like this. But it’s all good since we’re not gonna be selected, so don’t worry about it."
I was pondering on what Taylor had just said when a hush settled over the crowd.
It took me a few seconds to realize that it was because of a new presence.
Blaze’s scent hit me first, and I followed it till I was staring at the curved balcony in the middle of the hall, in a circular shape, which morphed into stairs nearing the ends of both circular ends.
My eyes locked with Blaze’s and I hastily averted my gaze, cheeks darkening, just as he started to speak.
"I want him as my roommate." He murmured, eyes trained on me, to my utmost shock.
