Fairy Tail Destiny-Chapter 123: Ch : Stabilized
Chapter 123 - Ch 123 : Stabilized
Noel gently placed Wendy down, his hand softly stroking her deep blue hair.
With a smile filled with both tenderness and relief, he said, "You've grown up. These past years must have been hard on you, Wendy. You're no longer that timid child who used to follow behind Jellal and me."
Hearing Noel's words, Wendy's eyes widened. "Noel... you... could it be..."
"Yes." Noel nodded, a faint smile forming at the corner of his lips. "I've regained my memories, including everything about you, Wendy. I remember it all now."
"Really? That's wonderful... truly wonderful..." Wendy murmured, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Noel reached out and gently wiped away her tears. "Alright, no more crying, or you'll turn into a little crybaby."
"Mm!" Wendy sniffled twice and forced herself to hold back her tears.
"I know you must have many questions for me, but catching up can wait until later. Wendy, leave this place to me. Go find Natsu and the others; otherwise, you might get caught up in the battle," Noel said softly.
"Mm." Wendy nodded obediently.
Now that Noel was awake, she could finally put her worries to rest.
She wasn't afraid for him—because in her heart, Noel could never lose.
But if she stayed here, she would only be a burden.
Battles of this level were too much for her to handle, even if it was just the aftershocks.
"Carla, let's go!" Wendy called to Carla, and with that, the girl and the cat swiftly left the scene.
Confirming that Wendy had left, Noel finally relaxed slightly and turned his full attention to Dylan.
"The Seven Thrones of the Demon God's Soul... You really do have quite the connection with them. So, which throne are you?" Noel asked calmly, looking at Dylan.
Dylan smiled lightly. "Your Majesty Nord, I am Dylan Kel'Thuzad, the Fifth Throne of the Demon God's Soul. I've wanted to meet you for a long time."
"What exactly is your goal? Why have you been seeking me out?" Noel frowned.
"That..." Dylan scratched his head.
"I can't say. Otherwise, Master will get angry. Well, let's not talk about that. I originally planned to bring Your Majesty Nord back with me, but since you're awake now, I suppose that's unnecessary. However, Your Majesty, let me fight you. I've been looking forward to this for a long time."
A surge of intense magic transformed into a white pillar of light, piercing the sky and enveloping the entire area.
Standing at the center of the radiant column, Noel spoke indifferently, "So, in the end, the only choice is to capture you and make you reveal the truth."
Meanwhile, Wendy and Carla, who had left the battlefield, came to a halt.
"Wendy, where do you plan to go next?" Carla asked.
Determination flickered in Wendy's eyes as she gazed at Nirvana and softly said, "Carla, I need to find a way to stop this. Maybe... there's something I can do after all."
Carla smiled in understanding. "You're right."
Suddenly, Carla seemed to notice something, freezing in place as her pupils shrank slightly.
"Carla, what's wrong?"
Carla didn't respond to Wendy's call.
Instead, she took a step forward, her voice filled with disbelief.
"No way... This must be a coincidence... Something like this shouldn't be possible..."
"What is it, Carla?" Noticing her companion's strange reaction, Wendy hurried forward, catching up to Carla, who had walked to the edge of Nirvana.
"If we keep walking straight in this direction... we'll reach our guild, Cait Shelter!!"
Hearing Carla's words, Wendy's expression also changed.
.............
"Alright, hurry up and state your reason for targeting Lady Wendy's guild."
On the other hand, under Jura's overwhelming strength, Brain of the Oracion Seis had been defeated.
Taking a step forward, Jura stared at Brain and slowly asked.
"I mean, wouldn't it be easier to just stop all of this?" Lucy tilted her head and asked.
Meanwhile, Natsu, who had defeated Cobra but was then captured by Brain, lay sprawled on the ground, groaning due to Nirvana's transport mechanism.
Covering his mouth, he mumbled indistinctly, "For me... I have to..."
Brain lay on the ground, not responding to Jura's question.
Instead, he muttered to himself, "I never thought I would be defeated... Midnight, I'm leaving the rest to you. The Oracion Seis must not fall... Before the six prayers disappear... Zero..."
"Zero?" Jura furrowed his brows.
"By the way, did that guy just lose a marking on his face?" Gray crossed his arms, staring at the unconscious Brain with a puzzled expression.
"Can you not say creepy things like that? I'll have nightmares."
"Everyone~!"
Suddenly, a slightly childish voice reached the group's ears.
"Wendy?" Everyone looked up to see Wendy and Carla running toward them.
"So it really was you guys causing all this chaos," Carla complained.
Stopping in front of them, Wendy caught her breath and anxiously said, "This city... it might be moving toward our guild!"
"It seems that way, but it's already taken care of."
"Hm?" Wendy let out a confused sound before lowering her gaze, only to see Brain collapsed on the ground.
She let out a startled gasp.
Gray nodded. "The guy who used snakes is down over there too."
"Then..."
"The one controlling Nirvana was likely this Brain guy. Now that he's been defeated, this city should stop moving," Lucy said with a smile, reassuring Wendy.
"This is so frustrating. In the end, we still don't know why he was targeting Cait Shelter," Carla muttered, pouting.
Gray, however, looked indifferent. "Honestly, there probably wasn't any deep reason behind it."
"Even though there are still a few things that bother me, I suppose this wraps everything up." Jura was still puzzled by Brain's cryptic words before he lost consciousness, but he felt that the overall situation had been resolved.
"It's not over yet..." A weak voice sounded.
Everyone turned toward its source—Natsu, still lying on the ground like a corpse, as if he was moments away from having a conversation with the Grim Reaper. "Somebody stop this thing already!!"
"Natsu, are you poisoned?!" Wendy asked in shock.

Hearing Wendy's words... the others all shook their heads speechlessly.
If Natsu's extreme motion sickness could be considered poisoning, then perhaps it really was a kind of affliction.
"What should we do? I already used my healing magic, but Natsu is still..." Wendy had attempted to cure him with her magic, yet Natsu remained sprawled out, leaving her at a loss.
"Natsu is hopeless when it comes to vehicles." Happy shook his head from the side.
"Truly useless," Carla scoffed in disdain.
"Motion sickness?" Wendy tilted her head, deep in thought. "If that's the case... maybe a spell that stabilizes balance could work."
A soft blue glow shimmered in Wendy's hand as she gently placed it on Natsu's head and softly chanted, "Tojan."
The moment Wendy cast her spell, Natsu suddenly leaped to his feet.
"I'm back!! I'm fine now!!"
"I'm glad it worked," Wendy said with a relieved smile.
"You're amazing, Wendy! Can you teach me that spell?!"
"It's Sky Magic, so I can't teach it to you," Wendy explained.
At that moment, however, aside from Natsu, no one else could celebrate.
Despite losing Brain's control, Nirvana was still moving forward—showing no signs of stopping.
