HDXD: Omni Harem System-Chapter 88: Conclusion to The Night I
Chapter 88: Conclusion to The Night I
The tension in the air softened for a moment as Adam glanced back at Clara, that faint blue glow still flickering in his nocturnal eyes.
"Y’know."
He started, his voice light but honest.
"Talking to you is actually kind of fun."
Clara blinked, tilting her head slightly as she regarded him.
"Fun?...
Clara repeated her words, taken aback by Adam’s comment.
Adam, however, just grinned at her reaction.
As he continues speaking, saying.
"Yeah, back home in Minerva Village... I’m always surrounded by my big sisters. It’s kind of a madhouse but in a weirdly wholesome way. They’re all drop-dead gorgeous, super strong, and each of them is obsessed with me in their own... uniquely terrifying way."
He laughed a little, rubbing the back of his neck.
As he continues to describe his family to Clara.
"Priscilla? She is just like you, a vampire, just infinitely stronger, although she is a total tsundere. She acts cold, always scolding me, but she is the one pulling all the strings behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Honestly, I think she cares the most... but good luck getting her to admit that."
He held up a finger.
"Then there’s Rakasha...well, her and her alter ego, White. Yeah... two dominant personalities in one body. Super intense. She tried to eat me more than once when I was little, but I swear she’s got the kindest heart. One time, she even said that if I grew up to be big and strong, she would marry me. That was either a threat, a promise, or a joke. Maybe all three... honestly, I don’t know."
A small grin played on his lip as he made a squeezing motion with his hand.
"She got a nice ass though, those things are so soft, what I would give for her to sit on my face all day long, and crush me with her chocklate thighs, but no one takes a child serious, sigh adulthood please hurry come."
Said Adam, as he soon made a praying motion.
This action made Clara open her eyes in surprise at how perverted her master was.
Honestly, Clara wasn’t sure what was more disturbing, the fact that a five-year-old was saying things like this... or the fact that he clearly understood every word coming out of his mouth. At this point, she was starting to believe that monster children were just born without a shred of innocence.
Then, Adam continued.
"Then there is Minerva...Oh, my precious Oni mommy, my beloved big sis with the greatest pair of boobs I have ever seen. She is the most carefree out of all of them. She loves to drink, party and sometimes gets a little too real after a few bottles...
Explained Adam, as he continued his harem rant.
"Hell, so far, she is the only one who makes an effort to sneak into my bed at night, cuddles me like a teddy bear, and calls me the best pillow in the world, as she nibbles my ears in her half-drunk state. And don’t even get me started on how she keeps dressing me up in all these wild delinquent outfits during her free time."
"I am basically her personal model... Not that I mind, of course, if my body makes her happy, then dress me up all you want hehehehehe... Oh, how I love that woman... Oh, and she is the leader of the family and easily the strongest out of all of us."
Truly, Adam loves them all.
For that reason, his praise is endless and abundant.
"And then... There is Echidna. Honestly, I don’t know much about her. My sisters barely mention anything about her. However, Minerva once called her our family guardian. So, I guess in my eyes... she is like a guardian angel. A silent protector of sorts, even though Priscilla calls her a Neet."
"But that is basically my family, and they are going to be your family as well."
Truly, Clara did not know how to answer to his words. Home was a concept she thought she would never see again.
For that reason, that single word struck Clara like a phantom blade.
"The last time I was home... my mother placed her hand on my shoulder and wished me luck on the frontlines."
Said Clara.
"France was under siege and was responsible for leading the charge. However, we were ambushed. To make things worse, a powerful dark spiritualist summoned a high-class devil. And if you know anything about devils, then you should know why we stood no chance. That was the last time I saw my mother. After that, I was captured... tortured... and later executed."
Adam didn’t speak immediately.
Instead, he floated closer, lowering just enough that their eyes could meet directly.
"Well, for one, I summoned you, Clara. I can’t have my servant on streets now, can I?"
He said half-seriously, half jokingly.
"That means my home... is your home now."
There was a silence between them, one that said more than any words ever could.
A soft breeze passed through the cavern, causing Clara’s long black hair to sway. Her curvaceous frame shifted slightly, and Adam, being very much himself, caught a glimpse of the bounce beneath her feathered top.
She noticed, of course.
But didn’t say anything.
Only the faintest, amused smirk came from the rising corner of her lips before she turned back, her face returning to its usual stoic calm.
"Hmm... Mon Maître is very kind indeed"
She whispered to herself.
And Adam just chuckled at her reaction.
"You’re cute when you’re at a loss for words, but I will be glad to have you as part of the family, servant of mine."
"Hmmm... If that is what you wish, Mon Maître
"Of course, that’s what I want. However, it’s time we get a move on; we are close to our destination."
And with that, they descended deeper into the nest.
What followed was pure carnage.
Dozens, no, hundreds of Antmen swarmed the tunnels like angry wasps.
But these things were basically fodder for these two.
Because as soon as they came into range of his sight.
Adam responded immediately, choosing to wipe out as much as he could while going deeper into the nest.
As such, he lifted his hand, and in an instant, a bunch of silver magic circles, at least a couple hundred of them, manifested into existence around him.
A large amount of Air Astrum pours from his Sea into each and every one of them. And like a supercharged machine gun, they fire without mercy.
Hundreds of invisible rods of pressurized air launched forward, snapping through chitinous armor and flesh alike. The sound they made was barely audible, more of a low hum, as enemies were torn apart faster than they could scream.
Their bodies exploded in bloody chunks, limbs flying, mandibles clattering against stone.
From long range, Adam was a very dangerous opponent, he could easily clear a large area with Air magic alone.
Meanwhile... Clara, never one to be outdone, moved in tandem.
Her blade shimmered as it carved through the swarm. She vanished and reappeared between enemies, her form enhanced by supernatural energy. Each motion was elegant, deadly, but also, notably...bouncy.
Her sizable bust jiggled subtly with every swing of her sword, and her tight feathered bra top barely containing the movement. Adam definitely noticed, but he also had a swarm of Antmen to kill, so priorities had to be enjoyed at another time.
But as Adam kept firing off countless rods of compressed air, thousands per second, killing all his enemies and getting for every kill he did, he soon noticed Clara beginning to tap deeper into her vampiric powers.
As she starts to add them seamlessly into her already deadly combat style.
From her palm, blood poured out and twisted in mid-air, becoming spear-like projectiles that darted through the enemy like a school of sharks. At the same time, shadows slithered from beneath her feet, snatching unsuspecting Antmen and dragging them inside her shadow realm, which is basically a spatial sub-space or prison vampires can use to imprison their enemies in.
As a result, hundreds of them were devoured like that as thousands of shadow-like arms burst forth from the sea of shadows beneath the ground.
They flood the entire tunnel, stretching into the deeper layers of the cavern.
The hands themselves were long and slender, but their grip was strong; it was like being held in place by the mouth of a megalodon without teeth.
If it were not for the Antmen’s strong exoskeleton, they would be crushed by the full force of the shadow hands.
This attack from Clara cleared the entire area in an instant, leaving nothing behind but silence. As all the Antmen could do as they all sank into the abyss was scream for their life till their voice could no longer be heard.
Once inside, things that are trap within the Shadow space will be frozen in time until they are taken out by the vampire who pulled them in to begin with.
Because time does not exist in that space, only darkness resides, as only darkness exists within a shadow, as such only being made of, or could become shadow itself could move in there.
And when Adam saw this, his eyes opened up in pure shock as he said.
"Holy crap... I mean, yeah, I know vampires can be range from B to S-Rank by default, but... seriously... To think that is just a basic vampire skill, rightfully so, it is a damn cheat code! Like, who the hell designed this race, Dracula on steroids?"
