Holy Necromancer: Rebirth of the Strongest Mage-Chapter 1110: Middle of the storm
This realm was where the Time Lord lived. It was considered one of the safest places in the entire universe, as no one could enter without the Time Lord's permission.
Even the guards protecting this realm were the best, never making a mistake while performing their duties. Despite that, the Time Lord's son was killed in this place, and no one even knew about it.
A few guards were still standing outside the garden, unaware that someone was gasping for breath while trying to call for them.
None of them even tried to check inside the garden, even with their enhanced awareness, as they didn't even consider the possibility that someone could hurt the young lord.
In their eyes, the young man was invincible. Even if they tried it themselves, they couldn't hurt the person who had inherited the bloodline of the Time Lord.
Moreover, the person that he was meeting was someone that he himself allowed. There was no visible threat according to them, especially since the guest had also been verified in the realm of mirrors.
It was only after an hour passed away that the guards started to react.
"Don't you think the meeting has been going on for a long time?" One of them asked, wondering what was taking their young lord such a long time.
From what they had heard, the person that arrived was with Chronos in the Aetherian Realm. Which meant, they had been fighting together. It hadn't been long since the two of them went their own way.
They weren't like old friends that had been separated for years, so they had a lot to talk about. Even if there was some important information to be shared, it could've been delivered in a few minutes.
Even if they didn't think that their young lord could've been hurt, they still found the long silence strange.
"Should I check?" A guard asked, but he was still somewhat hesitant. If he was wrong, and he heard some grave secret that he shouldn't have heard, then he was in for a world of trouble.
"You don't need to enter. Let's just verify it like this." Another guard chimed in, before he knocked on the door.
"Young Lord, should we bring some snacks for your friend?" he asked, making his voice louder. But strangely enough, even now, no reply came.
At this point, even he was starting to feel that something was wrong.
"Young Lord? Are you alright?" he asked again, as his hand subconsciously moved to open the door.
He slowly pushed the door open, finding the silence scary. If something really happened to Chronos, then none of them could take responsibility.
"If I wanted snacks, do you think I would need you to remind me?" A voice came, just as the door was creaked open.
The opening of the door revealed Chronos, who was standing there, perfectly unharmed. The guards looked past him, but they couldn't see the other young man anywhere.
"The information that he brought was really important. But even he wasn't allowed to know it. So I took care of it, and sent him to the afterlife. I also dealt with the body, so you don't have to think about him anymore."
The young man stepped out of the garden, the celestial robe on his shoulder tightly holding onto him.
"If I'm not wrong, the people that brought him here are also here, right? There's a possibility that they might also know about it. So kill them all. And don't give any of them the chance to speak. If you heard what you shouldn't hear, then you will have to face the same fate."
The young man didn't spare the guards a second glance, as he issued his instruction while walking away. The guards swiftly nodded, amazed at how cold blooded Chronos was. But it didn't feel out of character for him.
They were so distracted by the instructions and the shocking news, that they didn't pay proper attention to Chronos. If they had paid enough attention, they might have noticed that the clothes that Chronos was wearing were similar to before, yet slightly different.
It was as if he had changed his clothes while he was inside the garden, into something that was extremely similar to his previous clothes.

At the same time, in a dark space, Chronos' real body was floating lifelessly, being devoured by the abyss whose identity he had tried to uncover. Slowly, the memories of Chronos were being devoured, and being transferred to Karyk.
This time, Karyk didn't just transform into Chronos, but completely personified him, including the bloodline that he had robbed. All he needed were the memories of the things that Chronos had seen, which made him run to this place.
He was certain that it had something to do with the whereabouts of Aether, which he also wanted.
'From now on, I am the son of Time Lord,' he thought, as he walked away from the garden, hearing the guards rushing away to follow his instructions.
The ship that had brought him here, was boarded by the guards of the Domain. Almost every person inside the ship was killed, without being given a chance to say even a single word.
With their deaths, everyone who had known anything about him was killed. There were no trails that were leading to him. Everyone that saw him come out of the Aetherian Realm, was gone.
Things had fallen into place, with his old identity being completely erased and his new identity being that of the son of an ancient Overlord that had lived a life away from all the limelight.
Chronos had to spend almost his entire life in the Aetherian Realm, away from his father. And after only a few days of reunion, he was again separated, but this time for an eternity.
Meanwhile Karyk was in the center of the storm, which was brewing as the target. At the same time, he was in the center of the storm thanks to his so-called father who didn't even know about the fate of his real son.
