Chapter 170: Misunderstanding - 19

Silas’s POV

"And Silas doesn’t work in Damon’s company anymore when he didn’t even believe you, even after kissing you."

Of course, I’m not going to work with him. I was going to tell Orian that I’m terminating the contract, and just as I was about to say it...

"You kissed Damon?!"

As soon as I heard that voice, I knew it was Theron. I turned around. Theron was standing there with Mayer, and I think he heard that Damon and I kissed.

He quickly rushed toward me. "Did you kissed demon?"

"We’ll talk about this later, okay? I’ll explain to you everything."

When I said that, he calmed down.

"Wait, why the hell are you hugging him? Babe, you can’t hug anyone else except me!"

Huh? This Meyer is crossing the line now. Orian is my brother! Yeah, I know Meyer doesn’t know yet, but still, Orian can hug me.

"Meyer, you don’t know that Silas is my twin brother."

"WHAT?"

"WHAT?"

They both had exactly the same reaction after hearing that Orian and I were twin brothers.

"Orian, what is he saying? Is he telling the truth?"

Orian nodded at Meyer while smiling. I hugged my brother back—he really was a cute person.

"Hahaha... This is a joke, right? You’re kidding me right now. You’re telling me you and Orian are twin brothers? You mean real twins? Blood relation? Same blood? Really? Why is this news so hard for me to believe?" ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

Theron’s reaction was a little overdramatic, as usual.

He had been behaving normally since last night, but now his real self was coming out.

Or maybe, yeah, he was really shocked that Orian and I were brothers.

We had the same hair color, the same eye color, but we didn’t look alike—even as twins. That was the issue. But we were still twin brothers.

I was about to stand up, but Orian was hugging me, so I couldn’t move.

"Babe, don’t hug him!"

Meyer whined, but Orian ignored him and kept hugging my arm.

After two minutes, Meyer started staring at me and Orian, and Theron too. Both of them were looking at us the same way.

Meyer’s gaze was like I had snatched Orian away from him or something. And after a few seconds, they both sat down.

As soon as Meyer sat, he pulled Orian to himself, and Theron sat beside me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

And that’s when they both asked for an explanation. They still couldn’t believe that out of nowhere, Orian and I were suddenly twin brothers.

But it wasn’t out of nowhere. We had been twin brothers since birth.

I explained to Theron that I had already known Orian was my twin brother from the first time I entered their mansion.

But I didn’t tell anyone—not even Orian—because he looked happy there.

And finally, they both understood. Yes, Orian and I were brothers.

While we were talking, Meyer said he had found the person who originally wanted to kill Orian, but that person had used my information instead.

When Meyer showed me the person’s photo, I couldn’t recognize him at all. It was my first time seeing him. He was some unknown man—I had never seen him in my life.

Orian also didn’t recognize the man at all. Then I found out from Meyer that the person was from the entertainment industry.

But tracking his current location was difficult. Still, they were working on it, and soon, they would find him.

"Silas, I want to see your kid. I mean, the kid who calls you ’munma.’ Please, let me see him."

It’s not like I was going to say no, but I didn’t know where Velric was at the moment. So I glanced at Theron, and as soon as I looked up at him, he smiled.

Just then, Orian suddenly grabbed my hand.

"Silas, your hand... Kael did this, right?"

When Orian mentioned my hand, Theron’s attention also went to it. The wound caused by Kael was still there. My skin had dried, and pulling it would hurt.

Meyer called his servant and asked for a first aid kit. Orian quickly treated my wound. After that, we all stood up to go find Velric.

But I still didn’t know where Velric was. Just then, Theron grabbed my hand.

"Meyer and I were watching the little fighter playing a while ago. Let’s go, I’ll take you there."

He started walking. As we walked, I glanced back—Orian and Meyer were coming together.

When we reached the garden, I saw Velric hiding under a bench while Shine stood near a tree, counting.

"99... 100! Velric and Jerry, I’m coming!"

As soon as Shine turned around, he spotted Velric hiding under the bench. But he didn’t call him out immediately.

Instead, he turned around and wandered here and there, pretending to look for Velric.

Meanwhile, Velric was giggling like he thought Shine couldn’t find him. He was so happy.

Just then, Meyer’s assistant came from behind, touched Shine’s head, making him out . And shine ran back to the tree and started counting again.

This time, Velric crawled out from under the bench. As he stood up, he noticed me and Theron.

He quickly ran toward us.

"Mumma! Daddy! Hide me!"

As soon as he said that, Theron suddenly grabbed him and hid him behind his back, standing there like no one was behind him.

But of course, Velric was right there, giggling. I moved closer too, making sure Velric couldn’t be seen.

Seeing us, Meyer and Orian also moved closer to Theron. Behind us, Velric was giggling, pressing three fingers against his lips. He looked extremely happy.

Then Shine returned, but this time, he didn’t saw Velric under the bench.

He was thinking hard about where Velric could have gone. Velric wasn’t good at hiding properly—he was still a kid, after all.

Shine walked toward us. And, of course, we must have looked weird.

Those two were like tall trees, and Orian and I were like short trees standing next to them.

"Do you guys know where Velric is hiding?"

"No, we don’t know. Even if we did, we wouldn’t tell you! You can’t cheat, Shine. Go find him yourself," I said.

Clearly, I was the one cheating here.
