Silas’s POV

They were also checking Velric while panicking, but Velric didn’t wake up either. And just like those doctors, this doctor also came out . Their faces were giving me the same vibe and they told us:

"We can’t figure out what happened to that kid. Even though he has a high fever, it doesn’t seem to go down no matter what we do."

My eyes became teary as I heard them, like my world was scattered. And just then, my mobile rang.

When I looked at the screen with my teary, blurry eyes, I saw I was getting a call on Stargram, but the username wasn’t clear.

That’s why I didn’t pick up. But the call kept coming again and again, even while Ciel was talking with the doctor, asking them what exactly they thought happened to Velric.

I was really sad, but when I finally saw who was calling me—it was Damon calling me on Stargram.

And just then, my mobile rang again, and I answered the call.

(Silas) "Why are you calling me?"

(Damon) "What happened to your voice, Silas? Is everything okay? And what is that shouting voice coming from behind you?"

I guess he was asking about Ciel’s shouting, because Ciel was really angry at those doctors since they couldn’t heal a child.

(Silas) "Velric has a high fever and he is unconscious, but the doctors are saying they can’t treat him."

I don’t know why I told him that, but after telling him, my tears started falling again.

(Damon) "Which hospital are you in now? Tell me."

(Silas) "Sob... K Hospital."

(Damon) "Don’t cry. I’m reaching there in 10 minutes."

I didn’t want to called Damon here, but before I could say no, he hung up the call.

And even after asking many questions, the doctors raised their hands, saying they couldn’t treat Velric at all.

If they also can’t treat him, then what is going to happen to my Velric? Should I take him to the temple?

"Silas, don’t worry. I will call Father and ask him if he knows any doctor who would treat that kid."

Ciel and I came out of the hospital. While holding Velric in my arms, I was sitting on the bench outside the hospital. And ciel went to call dad

Since the hospital didn’t want to take responsibility for my Velric, they told us to take him to another hospital.

How can someone be this cruel? Even after seeing the condition this little kid is in, those doctors still didn’t do anything to treat Velric. I’m really disappointed in those doctors.

"Silas!"

As I heard that voice, I quickly looked up and found Damon coming toward me, running. When he reached me, he was panting.

As Damon came to me, he sat down on the bench beside me.

"Silas, you’re okay, right? And what happened to this kid? Is he alright now?"

"His fever is still increasing—he’s burning up like lava. Please, Damon, do something and save him."

"Give me the kid. I’m not a doctor, but I want to take a closer look."

As Damon took Velric away from me, I realized my clothes were all hot because of Velric’s fever.

"You’re very famous. You must know many doctors. Please call them and tell them to treat Velric. Please, Damon."

And just then, Damon touched my cheek.

"Silas, don’t worry. I’m here."

He was looking at Velric—I don’t know what he was looking for the last few seconds. Just then, he looked at me with widened eyes.

"What happened?" Seeing his face, I got scared. After looking at Velric, he looked at me with a shocked face—of course I would be scared.

"Now I know why the doctors didn’t find anything."

"Why?"

"It’s black magic... I can sense a very large amount of dark aura coming out from this kid—slowly, slowly."

"Black magic? Who did it? And how can we set him free from that black magic? Can you save him?"

"Unfortunately, I can only sense these types of things. But only one person can save him right now."

"Who?"

He took out his mobile without telling me who and called Theron. What? Theron can save Velric? But how?

And just then, Ciel also came over.

"Silas, I think I found out what happened to this kid."

As Ciel came, he saw Damon sitting beside me while holding Velric.

"Huh? What are you doing here Mr. Damon? And Silas... Dad said it could be the effect of black magic on this kid. That’s why the doctors couldn’t treat him."

That’s what Damon just said too. I couldn’t even guess that someone did black magic on little Velric.

He’s so small and innocent—how can someone do something like this to him?

"Silas, what is he doing here? Don’t tell me it was him who did something to this kid?" Damon said

"Mr. Damon, how can you slander me like this?"

While Ciel was talking, his mobile suddenly rang and he needed to go back.

So he left, even though he said he didn’t want to leave me alone. And Velric still hadn’t recovered still he needed to leave cuz it was urgent.

After he left:

"Silas, let’s go from here. We can’t stay out here. The dark aura inside this kid is summoning dark energy from nearby."

He handed Velric back to me and we got inside the car. The car stopped in front of an unknown villa I had never seen before.

As it stopped, we both got out and I saw Theron coming toward me, running—his face looked worried.

"How is the little fighter now?"

Theron took Velric from me and held my hand to comfort me. Seeing Theron, I felt relieved. I don’t know how, but my hopes were on Theron only.

"Please, Theron, save him. Please."

"Silas, don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to our Velric."

Saying that, he pulled me inside the villa.

Damon also came inside. As we went in,Theron put Velric down on the bed.

"Silas and Damon, just stand outside this room. Don’t come in, no matter what happens."
