Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 239: Training base
Chapter 239: Training base
(Silas) "I’m not that great—you’re just flattering me. So, what’s Velric doing right now? Are you two playing?"
Theron was silent for a moment, then answered.
(Theron) "Actually... The thing is, I had some work in the Dark Valley, so I came here. But don’t worry—I brought Velric with me."
(Silas) "I’m glad I left Velric with you. I have to hang up now."
(Theron) "Bye—and love you."
Theron hung up, but his words kept ringing in Silas’s ears, making his heart flutter.
Cough
Hearing the cough, he remembered Shine was there. He glanced at him, and Shine was smiling, raising his eyebrows teasingly.
"Oh-ho... calling hubby and sharing good news—isn’t that too romantic? And here I thought you two weren’t even dating. Looking at you now, it feels like you’re in the honeymoon phase!"
"Don’t tease me, Shine. And... there’s something I want to share with you—but please don’t tell anyone."
Shine nodded with a serious face, but before Silas could say anything, a staff member entered.
"Mr. Silas, you need to come with me inside."
"Okay," Silas said, and followed the staff member. He gestured to Shine with his hand, signaling he’d tell him later.
As he stepped inside the room again, the five directors and producers were smiling at him. He smiled back and bowed.
"Thank you for choosing me for this role. I’ll definitely do my best."
The producer sitting in the corner looked him over from head to toe. Her eyes were narrow, like she was judging him deeply.
"Silas, let me tell you one thing before you start celebrating. Fifteen male and female alphas and fifteen male and female omegas have been selected for this role—for both the ML and MC. They’re all from different packs."
She paused before continuing.
"There will be two months of training, where we’ll teach you dance, singing, and better acting. In the end, those who become perfect will be selected."
That meant there would be training where all actors and actresses—regardless of being alpha, omega, or beta—would train together for two whole months.
This way, the chemistry between the leads could be built properly.
This was all new to Silas. Even in his first drama, he had only taken acting lessons.
But for this drama, they’d have to spend 60 days together and learn everything.
From the Bloodfang pack, Silas was selected as a main character—and there were main characters from every other pack too.
Basically, the Bloodfang pack was trying to expand its entertainment industry to every pack.
Every alpha and omega from other packs dreamed of coming here and becoming actors. This was their chance.
After that conversation, they sent Silas out, saying the rest of the information would be given by the staff members. As he stepped out, they called Xilen inside.
Silas told Shine everything that had happened inside, and soon the staff gathered everyone and explained the next steps.
After that, they left the company because the training would begin in three days—and all arrangements were already completed.
In three days, Silas would have to go to the training base with his luggage.
He couldn’t bring his laptop or any other electronics—only one device was allowed.
As they got into the car, Silas thought about informing Jeren about his selection since he hadn’t gotten the chance to meet him at all that day.
Atlas started the engine and began driving, while Shine kept talking about Xilen and how unbelievable it was that Silas had been selected over him.
Meanwhile, Silas took out his phone and messaged Jeren.
[Silas: Mr. Jeren, I got selected as the main character for the new drama your company is producing. I know there’s going to be two months of training, and after that the final results will be announced—but I promise I’ll do my best and earn that role.]

Meanwhile, on the other side in the Dark Valley...
Theron had left earlier because he had an appointment with someone.
He brought Velric along and headed to a café located inside the Dark Valley.
When he stepped into the café with Velric, the person he was meeting was already seated and waiting for him.
"You’re here, Theron."
Theron walked over and sat down across from the man, placing Velric beside him.
"So, Mr. Jeren, what important thing did you want to talk about?"
Jeren was sitting there, scrolling through his phone. He put it down on the table and folded his arms across his chest.
"Theron, what is Velric doing with you?" freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
Theron glanced at Velric and handed him his phone after playing a cartoon on it. That was all Velric needed.
As soon as he saw the cartoon, he grabbed the large phone with his tiny hands, pulled up both his legs, and got lost in watching it.
"He’s my son, Mr. Jeren. But why are you asking? I don’t understand—you came all the way to the Dark Valley just to ask me that?"
"Your son? Then can I ask—what is your relationship with Silas? Because I also know the history behind that kid."
A smile appeared on Theron’s lips upon hearing that.
"I’m pursuing Silas—but why are you asking? Do you have a problem with that?"
Jeren leaned back slightly, his expression calm yet serious.
"No, I don’t have any problem with it. But let me tell you one thing—Silas is my son."
Theron paused, thinking Jeren meant it in a metaphorical way—that he considered Silas like a son.
So he didn’t react much and just kept observing Jeren’s face, trying to read between the lines.
"Yeah, so why are you telling me this? It’s not like you’re his biological father or anything," Theron replied casually, brushing it off.
Jeren smiled, calm and composed.
"I am indeed his biological father."
As he said that, he pulled out a folded document from his coat and slid it across the table toward Theron.
Theron looked down and unfolded it. It was a test report—official, stamped, undeniable.
Theron’s eyes narrowed as he read the result.
