Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 27: We stucked in elevator
Chapter 27: We stucked in elevator
Silas’s POV
(Silas) "I already had breakfast, Nekol."
I was standing in the corner, looking around while waiting for Nekol’s answer.
(Nekol) "Wait... don’t tell me you went to the cafeteria alone."
(Silas) "Yes, you’re right."
I only heard a beep before the call disconnected. I didn’t know if it got cut off by mistake or if Nekol hung up on me. I sighed, put my phone back in my pocket, and started walking. I took the elevator, but somehow, I pressed the wrong button, and now the elevator had stopped on Damon’s office floor.
I tried pressing the button for the first floor, but it wasn’t working, and the elevator doors weren’t closing either. Just then, Damon walked out of his office. His eyes landed on me as he stepped out. I glanced around, trying to avoid his gaze. He stepped into the elevator, and right then, the doors closed.
"Were you waiting for me?" His eyes were on me as he teased.
I kept looking straight ahead, avoiding eye contact because it was still awkward for me. After all, he had seen me shirtless before.
Suddenly, I caught that forest scent again—stronger this time. I quickly glanced around because it wasn’t there earlier. When my eyes landed on Damon, I realized the scent was coming from him. Was it his pheromones? Or did he use perfume? Since I couldn’t sense any alpha pheromones, it meant he was wearing perfume. But his perfume was really strong.
"Aren’t you going to talk to me now?" I glanced at him as i heard, and he was already looking at me, a slight smirk on his lips.
"It’s not like that, Mr. Damon. I was just unsure what to talk about, so I didn’t answer." I bowed slightly as an apology, but he just laughed it off and let the matter go. I looked straight ahead again.
"Silas, did you like the cookies I gave you yesterday?"
"Yes, those cookies were so delicious. Thank you for giving them to me."
He nodded as I showed my gratitude. We were just standing there when, suddenly, the elevator shook hard, the lights blinking. great
"Oh, god. Why did the elevator stop now?" I quickly stretched out my hand and started pressing every floor button, but none of them were working. I was about to panic when I turned to look at Damon because he wasn’t saying anything.
But when I looked at him, I saw him panting heavily, his eyes locked on the floor. He was trembling, scratching at the elevator wall, and sweating.
I took a step toward him and gently touched his hand.
"Are you okay, Mr. Damon?"
He suddenly flinched at my touch and panicked even more. He looked completely different, like a totally different person right now.
"Huh... Save me." He held my hand tightly, still trembling.
I held both of his hands. "Don’t worry. Everything is fine. I’m here." I was trying to comfort him.
Then, out of nowhere, he hugged me, pressing his body against mine. I suddenly felt... aroused? I tried to push him away, but he pushed me down with his body weight, and I ended up falling.
And he was still on top of me.
"Ughh... What are you doing? Get off me right now! You’re so heavy!"
He suddenly sat up. Yeah, good. At least he understood me. But then—just as I thought it was over—he grabbed my waist and pulled me onto his lap.
My hands automatically landed on his chest as he pulled me in.
And then he hugged me—very tightly. His face still looked like a scared dog, but this position was so weird. I mean, he was my brother’s mate, and here I was, sitting on his lap while he hugged me. But then again, he was scared, so I let it be.
And now it had been five minutes, and he still refused to let me go. He had stopped trembling, so I guessed he was calming down. But it was getting so hot in here, and I didn’t know when we were going to get out. I didn’t want to die in this stupid elevator.
Suddenly, his hands started rubbing my back, and his face was buried in my shoulder. He took a deep sniff.
"It’s so sweet... your scent," he mumbled.
Then—he pecked my shoulder.
I immediately tried to push him away and stand up from his lap, but—this was the first time in my whole life that I felt so weak in front of an alpha.
I couldn’t even push him away. And I didn’t get why.
His hands, which had been rubbing my back, suddenly wrapped tightly around my waist. He had finally stopped moving, so I just sat there, frozen.
Then, I heard noise outside, and when I focused, I realized they were trying to open the elevator doors. A glamorous hope of surviving filled me.
I looked at Damon, and he made eye contact with me.
"We’re safe. They’re here to save us. Look."
Damon looked confused for a moment, like he didn’t understand what was happening. Then his hands suddenly let go of my waist, and I quickly stood up.
But he was still sitting on the floor.
"Hey, why aren’t you getting up? Or do you want to stay here forever?"
Damon stood up next to me. He looked better now, unlike a few moments ago. I think he had some kind of trauma related to elevators. But this wasn’t the place to say anything, so I kept my mouth shut.
Finally, the elevator started moving again and stopped at the fifth floor. As soon as the doors opened, I quickly stepped out and sighed in relief.
When I turned, I saw Damon still standing inside the elevator like a statue.
"Are you an idiot?" I grabbed his hand and pulled him out before the doors closed again.
Once he was out, he glanced around and then looked at me.
"Don’t tell anyone what you saw today," he said before hurrying away.
I just stood there, watching him leave.
