RE: Perverted Sugar Daddy System-Chapter 318: Appearance
Other than being a bit old, Mr. Mongraty had a nearly white head, and he wore very elegant spectacles.
My words had all eyes in the room turn to me, but Mongraty—too old, I believe, to stress his neck—replied while still facing forward,
"The family of the Alber Chase Caster are yet to present themselves. Without them, we cannot read the will."
"Did Mr. Chase say that, or are you just sucking up to the family and tolerating their excesses?"
Beside me, Grace was struggling not to let her expression turn to one of horror. Out of view from everyone else, she was strongly tugging on my pants.
"Sir, please don't say anything more," the girl whispered beside me, lamentation well-carried in her tone.
"Mr. Albert said nothing of the sort, but considering we are guests, I believe waiting for the hosts is the least we can do.
If we can be polite, why not be?"
There were still some words I could speak, but I believed I had said enough and went quiet.
Grace breathed out in relief at my withdrawal from the conversation, frustration at my actions clear in her eyes.
"Why would you try to challenge them in their own house?" Grace gritted out, despite trying to sound soft.
"I have my reasons."
Our cars—forcefully opened and broken into. The two people Denise had sent to trail us and watch over the car had been taken out. I could only hope they weren't dead.
What pissed me off the most was that our driver, who had stayed back at the car, had been knocked out, drugged, and stripped naked.
She wasn't being raped, but there were hands that had passed over her body, going to her intimate parts, looking for what was not there.
Other than how long it would take me to tell Grace all these things, there was also the matter of explaining to her how I knew it.
At the moment, I had no plans of coming forward and telling anyone how my most utilized technique worked.
Denise and Grace had agreed that we should come to the house humble, but from my observation, the only things that had welcomed us were unrestrained disrespect.
"Don't leave my side for any reason."
I thought of blowing up and moving to save the abused maid, but the several chains of energy—both natural and foreign—passing through the walls of the building held me back.
Also, the actions against the maid were being done by a woman, and so far, she had remained professional.
I had just finished warning Grace and was on the fence about whether to rain down chaos when Lia and her children finally decided to enter the room.
No announcement or introduction was made, but the second the woman set foot in the room, everyone in it rose to their feet.
Aura—demanding and commanding—was the reason for this, and through everyone's being, the desire to submit blossomed.
It was rather unfortunate that this time, I had no choice but to not be an exception.
First, it came like an aura, slamming into my mind and demanding obedience from it.
The strength of the aura coming off the woman at the front was unlike anything I had ever seen, pressing into my mind like a boulder.
Calling on the energy in my mind, my plan was to fight and overcome the infection, but then Lia decided to take the second step, and everything immediately changed.
From being affected by just an aura, I found myself stripped raw in a domain.
With mind vision, I searched through the space around me, looking for the Psions pouring out of Lia and enabling her domain, but found nothing.
No longer was just my mind affected—even my body was hit with the turbulence, and just like that, I found my cells wanting to submit and obey.
I thought of summoning all my strength and fighting off Lia's influence, but I immediately felt that all that awaited me on this path was defeat and possible misery.
I had not just myself to worry about, but also the maid.
Against my ego, which wanted to prove itself, I understood that I stood to lose nothing and had gains to make, so I relented.
Not only was I forced to stand, I found myself unable to turn.
This meant that until Lia walked past me as she marched to the front, I would be unable to see the woman.
But just as she took a step past my row, she came to a stop and looked back at me.
After learning about Lia Caster, I had seen a few images of the woman, but staring at her now in real life, I felt like I was seeing her image—and everything—for the very first time.
Also, despite the woman wearing a long yellow silk gown with a slit on the right that reached up to her thigh, I felt I was before a regal beast.
Lia had her long blonde hair styled to the back, her face padded with no makeup but her lips a shiny red.
By her looks, the only description for her should be "hot and sexy," but not only did looking at her make one feel she was wild, it also made them fear her—fear that she would consume them.
Lia Caster stopped for just a few seconds, keeping her gaze on me, and then she continued forward, heading for the front seat—particularly where Mongraty sat.
Behind Lia, their heads raised high like they had created the world, her five children followed—first her two sons, her eldest daughter, her fourth son, and then her last daughter, Tracy Caster—the one I was to target.
"Grace, why do you think you stood up?" I asked as we had our seat.
"Mrs. Caster was entering the room, so I stood in respect."
"Did you think about not standing?"
"No, Sir. It doesn't make sense to not do that."
I was trying to get an understanding of how people like Grace perceived being in a domain, but the woman wasn't giving me interesting answers.
"Was that even a domain?" I couldn't help asking myself.
"What if it was just aura taken to the next possible level?"
Everyone settled in their seats after a few exchanges with the lady of the house.
Mongraty stood and climbed the podium at the front.
All attention immediately shifted to the old man, and he did not waste time before beginning to speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here to..."
No, Mongraty's words didn't fade from my ears because I decided to drone out. They faded because my attention was drawn to a certain group of people who were now filling the empty seats to the left of the room.
No one had seen them come in. They didn't seem to have appeared. It was like they had just always been there.
"Grace, do you see the people to the side?"
