Reborn ghost seeing lady is pampered by her ex husband-Chapter 616: Hello Othello.
"Unless he is the one we smelled back then at Lockhart on the night Ruth was rescued. He found a way to prolong his life somehow using dark magic. The souls that he consumes along with borrowing the life force of others and drinking the blood of pure magic beasts. That is how he stays alive. Look," It pointed at the dangling pendant around his neck. "The ring on the chain around his neck is the same one that Obed was going to be buried with."
Phoebe put together her own facts, drawing things from her past life to this life. "Do you think that he is the master that they were talking about?"
"I vote yes." Zephyra said. "Right from the beginning, old magic has been involved in this mess. It took old magic to lock up Ravana, old magic must be involved in her waking. All the old witches have passed, and old knowledge is gone."
"All but him. Oh my God!" Phoebe's hand flew to her mouth.
They had searched high and low for the master, and he had just walked right into the Saxon tower. Their protective wards did not even sense him. But now as they had a face and the two people responsible for the death of her children, Phoebe was ready to act.
"So...where are those old magic spells of yours?" She asked the spirit.
As she had a silent conversation with the spirit Maureen and David bombarded Bradley with questions that he refused to answer. The only person that defended him was Margaret whose stupidity was still obvious as usual. She could not see the condescension in his eyes when he looked at everyone.
He was like a superior being and they were all worms to be disdained.
Phoebe joined the rest of them with a smirk on her face as she looked at Bradley. "Settle down everyone, I believe that I have solved the big mystery of Bradley's super-secret identity."
"Oh." Bradley responded with scorn and mockery, his lips curling upwards in a smile. "Do tell."
David moved closer to Phoebe and put a hand around her waist. She kept her attention on Bradley, still smirking as she said, "Othello Constantine, that is your real name is it not? You look good for a man of ....how old are you?" She waved her hand. "Who cares at this point let's just say that you are as old as this country itself.
You are the sorcerer that was behind the idea of the founding families reaching out to Ravana and when they wanted to get rid of her you are the one that had a different opinion. You wanted to keep her around and use her to empower and enrich yourself. More than that you wanted immortality.
You still want it because you have turned into something not human, preserving your life the way that you are doing. I have bad news Othello, Ravana will not rise again and there will be no war especially if the sorcerer to sermon her is gone, that sorcerer is you and you are going to die here tonight." She spoke her tone asserting.
All the guardians in the room were on guard, they had been that way the moment Phoebe said the name Othello. Orson who was burning with rage summoned a fire ball that he was eager to throw out. Rufus again told them to wait.
They still surrounded Bradley from a distance, covering every exit. Feeling trapped, Bradley let out a sarcastic laugh. "I guess that dinner is over, I am done with this." He began to walk away, leaving Ruth behind.
The weight of desertion pressed down, her breathing came out in jagged gasps. She knew that she would not be leaving the tower tonight as well. "No! You cannot just leave me here please." Her sound was a mixture of a sob and a snarl. "They will kill me, please grandpa!" Fear pried her lips apart_the words spilled out before she could cage them. More than anything, they compelled Bradley to pause in his steps.
"What did you say?" Margaret asked, her eyes locked, unblinking, the shock freezing her in place.
Nile finger moved back and forth between Bradley and Ruth. "She called him grandpa! We all heard her, right?" His eyes darted around from one Saxon to another as if in search of confirmation, he wanted to believe that he was not going insane.
Whispers broke out among them. "Yes, we all did." Some managed to say.
"Do not just stand there and explain this, we have the entire night you are not leaving this place until we clear up a lot of things." David folded his sleeves.
Ruth fell to her knees, her teary eyes widening, black pits dawning in terror. "I am sorry grandpa....master I-I....." The words dissolved into nothing when she began to choke, blood gushing out of her mouth and ears.
"The crimson curse..." Maureen laughed in disbelief. It looked like they would not have to kill Ruth, her grandfather was going to do it for them.
Bradley spun around and walked back towards Ruth. "You stupid bitch! This is why I hate any kinds of attachments. First it was your greedy parents who asked for money no matter how much I gave to them and now there is you, the idiot that has been caught and proceeded to ruin all everything. I guess that it is time for a family reunion in hell." He spoke with ease like he was not new at what he was doing. With a snap of his finger, Ruth's neck answered as her head wrenched sideways.
Slowly by slowly, it moved in a unnatural way, completing three hundred sixty degrees. The horror unfolded in slow motion but none of them could move or do anything to save Ruth. It was almost like as though time hard stopped and their bodies were too heavy to move.
"He has locked you all in current time." The spirit told Phoebe. It hurled a searing orb of raw power at him, but Bradley caught it midair and thrust it back like a burning comet.
"Zephyra." Phoebe screamed, when the bolt of energy sent the spirit flying back, unconscious.
She had always thought that the spirit was invincible, and now she was proven wrong.
"This is just so frustrating!" Bradley complained, scratching his head like it had lice in there. "All the plans are ruined by that blabber mouth! I wanted to take it slow, find out where those damn crystals are and then kill all of you, but I guess that I will have to just do away with you now, with every bad thing comes an advantage. I will have to hasten my plans to raise Ravana before more people find out." He gave an arrogant speech, leaving no details of what his intentions were.
"I will start with you, old man." He strolled_lazily towards Rufus. "If you join Ravana's disciples, agree to honoring me as your master and worship her as your lord then I will spare you and your entire family." He offered a deal that many would quickly grab with two hands under the circumstances in which they found themselves.
