At this moment, the bedroom door opened from outside.

’’See, you should thank me for leading the way. It might not look that way from the outside but my house is really big...’’

Adrian’s face frosted over.

Ronan clicked his tongue, ’’So petty? Fine, it’s not as big as your mansion of course...’’

The color on Adrian’s face kept worsening every second.

It was Ji Yan who stumbled a few steps back, almost dropping Riri who was comfortable snuggling in his arms.

Ronan finally felt something amiss and looked in the opposite direction.

And ’boom’!

He was also thunderstruck.

From where they stood, they could see the figures of two women on the bed.

One on the bottom and the other on the top.

Ella’s black hair cascaded around her like a curtain, preventing anybody from seeing what the two people were doing.

Suddenly, Adrian’s aura erupted like a volcano and his rage tore through the room.

One moment, he was still standing at the door.

And within a few huge strides, he covered the distance between the door and the bed.

During the fall earlier when she tripped, Ella had felt her far-from-flexible waist almost cracking down.

She was worried about how to get up now. But before her struggles could start, strong fingers clutched her elbow and swung her away from Ruby like she was a rag doll.

Holding Ella in his arms, Adrian shot Ruby a stare so sharp that it could shave her eyebrows off.

Ruby sat up on the bed calmly and her red hair draped over her shoulder. She smoothened the creases on the shirt that almost reached her knee and then she looked up at Adrian, her face cold.

Adrian’s gaze turned glacial and the room suddenly tensed with him. one look and you knew hell was about to break loose.

Nobody dared to breathe, let alone say a word.

With a small furrow of her brows, Ella reached out to massage her aching waist.

At this moment, she felt strong arms wrap around her body and suddenly she was floating in the air.

Adrian held her up in a princess-carry and shot Ruby a gaze that was so poisonous that it could melt metals over.

And under everyone’s astonished gazes, the man uttered a single word while tugging Ella closer to his chest, ’’Mine.’’

Ella was still in a daze while Adrian carried her all the way to the sedan parked outside the condominium.

It was only after he placed her in the backseat and locked the door did she come back to her senses.

Wait... what?

Don’t tell me he is really jealous of girls too?

He had shown signs of this back in her dorm room and in front of Kade in the morning today but Ella dismissed it as a part of his nature.

Like how kids are awfully possessive of their toys and would not let anyone take it away.

But how could Adrian be like a normal kid? He seemed to be keen on safeguarding the toy to the very end, not letting anyone see it, let alone touch or have it.

Her thoughts came to an abrupt halt when the man walked around the car and entered the backseat.

His gaze was fierce, like that of a demonic beast that had been stirred. The paleness of his face that should have made him delicate only made him appear fearsome.

Ella raised both her arms in surrender, ’’See, we have misunderstandings here... Let’s communicate... Mmmph...’’

One moment she was letting all her brain cells jump and in the next moment, Adrian pulled her onto his lap and captured her lips.

Ella’s eyes widened by the sudden possessive kiss that knocked the breath out of her.

Adrian sucked on her bottom lips before biting on it. Rolling her plump lips between his teeth, he pulled back for a moment.

The rage in his eyes had been replaced with heat and something Ella didn’t quite recognize.

’’Indeed.’’

Ella’s brain was glitching when his response registered in her head. Indeed...? Indeed what?

Adrian’s one hand remained on her hips while the other reached out to tuck a stray hair behind her ear, ’’Let us communicate then.’’

Those two words dropped in a deep yet sultry whisper.

A trail of heat travelled down her body when his long fingers curled in her hair and grabbed her head.

While Ella was in a daze, the man captured her lips again, kissing her like a starved man.

His lips entangled with hers, their bodies pressed against each other’s, and Ella was certain that he would feel every inch of her curve against his body.

His tongue travelled in her mouth and his mouth opened wider. The man kissed her like he wanted to eat her.

When their lips parted, Ella’s eyes had glazed over as she panted.

Adrian leaned in towards her again.

’’Wait...’’ Ella rasped. ’’I... can’t breathe...’’ she mumbled, head lowered, thoughts incoherent.

A glint flickered in Adrian’s lips as he leaned closer to her, his lips hovered above hers, not quite far, not quite touching, ’’Let me help you.’’

With every word he uttered, his lips grazed against hers in a feather touch and Ella stiffened.

Her body reacted in ways that were not quite familiar to her.

In two lives, this was the first time she had felt this feeling so closely and before she realized it, she was already leaning in towards Adrian.

Adrian’s eyes darkened the moment she leaned towards him. His clear eyes clouded over and his heart thumped, louder with every second she remained close to him without retreating.

That intoxicating fragrance of magnolias scratched at his heart.

When he did not respond, Ella stiffened and the fog in her brain cleared.

Realizing what she was doing, she immediately pulled back.

But she had barely budged an inch when the man tightly grabbed her head and captured her lips again.

This time, his kiss was still as forceful, punishing and invading, yet at the same time, it was gentle, passionate, and... somewhat desperate.
