After escaping from the location of the Supreme Tribulation and finding a location to hide in, Corey decided to study the distortion and manipulation of the space, time, and void around him.

Despite escaping from the location of the Supreme Tribulation, the distortion and manipulation of the space, time, and void around him followed him no matter where he went to and he could not teleport to the Neon Headquarters no matter what.

It was an application of space, time, and void that astounded him. No matter how much he observed and studied the ability, the progress he made was basically close to nil.

Although he failed to understand the ability that was used by either a Supreme or the Supreme Ancestor on him, he found out that the space, time, and void around him was being restored back to normal.

However, it would most likely take a week or so based on his calculations.

Which meant that Corey could not teleport for at most a week until he either found a way to nullify the ability or until the ability ended on its own.

After knowing this, Corey assigned one of his Stars of Consciousness to continue observing and studying the distorted space around him.

Meanwhile, Corey focused on trying to increase his understanding of some of his skills, especially the skills of his title.

Especially after his battle with Pamela, he realized that the potential of runes were extremely terrifying, and if he could understand runes to a greater degree, he was certain that he would soar on the path of power.

Three days went by, and then Corey felt his U-Watch vibrate. He frowned, and then glanced at it.

He saw that it was a message from Divine which stated that a group meeting was going to happen in the next hour.

"Is it time already? Is Divine finally ready to catch the traitor in our group and are we finally going to begin our plan to leave the Underworld?"

Corey mumbled with a slightly tensed expression. He glanced at his hands and clenched them tightly.

"I've gotten stronger... Much stronger than how I was when I first arrived in the Underworld."

"I have broken the Universal Limits and all my attributes are maxed. I'm a Demi-Paragon with the blood of the Primogenitor of all Paragons in me. I have a Cosmic Soul which transformed my talent of Omniscience. I have a very high quantity and quality of skills, and my proficiency in each of them is high."

"I have powerful weapons and a powerful armor. Although I don't have a lot of items, the ones I have are remarkably powerful.

"I've grown much stronger and the knowledge I have has also increased... However, despite having all of these, I don't have the confidence that we'll be able to escape the Underworld so easily."

"If I had more time for my plan to grow, escaping and destroying the Underworld would have been easy. But the one thing we don't have is time. Once it's time for the Outsiders to make a bid for me and the other Underworld residents, it'll be more difficult to leave the Underworld."

"And living as a slave or servant of another individual is not something I want after having to live in the Underworld for so long."

Corey paused as he reached this thought, and then he glanced at the date on his U-Watch.

"I've spent nine months in this damn place." Corey mumbled and looked down with a solemn expression and a tinge of sadness in his eyes.

"A whole nine months without being able to locate my sister... Hopefully, she's still alive and... Not broken."

Corey shook his head, and then his eyes turned pure white and he looked around, making sure that there was nobody hiding around him.

After seeing that there was nobody, Corey stood and dusted his body.

"I guess it's time to leave. Hopefully, nothing shocking happens on my way to the headquarters."

Corey stretched, walked to the window, and then jumped out. He looked around once again after landing on the floor, and then he started jogging.

"Where the hell were you, huh? Do you know the ruckus you caused?"

The moment Corey reached the Neon Headquarters, he encountered Divine and received an earful.

Corey squinted his eyes in irritation, and with a nonchalant expression, he pushed Divine away.

"What the hell are you talking about? I told you that I was not responsible for the Supreme Tribulation or the Shattering of the Underworld Sky." Divine's lip and left eye twitched as a vein appeared on his forehead the instant he heard Corey's tone and reply.

"First of all, I'm not even talking about that. I'm talking about that woman you told me to search for her information and secretly protect if she was not

shady."

"Lydia?" Corey looked at Divine with a frown.

"Yes, Lydia." Divine clicked his tongue and looked away as he continued walking without waiting for Corey.

"What happened?" Corey asked with a frown, and he checked his U-Watch for any messages from Kiefer and Selene.

However, after the messages from his two servants who told him that they had successfully given Lydia the pill and elixir, and she took both the pill and elixir, he received no other message from both Kiefer and Selene,

'Are they okay? They didn't tell me that there was a problem with the task I gave them. Besides, I told them that if they were in danger, they should back off and make sure they don't get hurt."

'So what happened?"

Corey frowned deeply, and then Divine's voice drifted into his ears.

"Nothing much happened, but Kiefer and Selene were attacked by the Embodiment of Lust. Three Tier 4s and three Tier 3s ganged up on them, but Selene successfully held them back... For Selene to have been able to kill a Tier 4 and two Tier 3s while protecting two people, proved that she was talented.

Corey was slightly impressed.

"With time, Selene would have been able to defeat all of them. Although with serious injuries, she would have won."

"However, the moment she killed the Tier 4, another Tier 4 appeared, and this

one was a peak Tier 4 and was slightly talented."

"She would have been killed if not Kiefer who had sent me a message beforehand telling me that they were being attacked."

"Luckily, I was able to get there on time and resolve the issue. However, our

relationship with the Embodiment of Lust is no longer neutral. We're now on

their bad side basically."

"They're your underlings, but you rarely train them and improve them.

Especially Kiefer."

Corey furrowed his brows slightly.

"You're talented as an individual, but as a leader, you're lacking in that aspect."
