The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 426 - I’m Glad I Married You Again
Chapter 426: Chapter 426 - I’m Glad I Married You Again
"The couple has their own vows to say," the priest said, and Robin smiled through tears. He never took his eyes off his wife and did not care that he looked weak in front of her.
Opening his mouth, he choked on tears but quickly regained himself and began,
"My queen, I wonder how I gave you a crown and yet, you look like a princess wearing a tiara." The guests laughed as Robin continued with his voice heavy with emotions.
All the important personalities he invited to the wedding, including the mayor and other prominent members of the country, were all present, together with all business colleagues, associates, CEOs, and workers.
Aria and her husband’s excitement knew no bounds as they were very happy to be a part of this joyous celebration.
"Well, I already decided to spoil you like a princess," Robin said, and Sabrina smiled, the guests laughed.
They didn’t know how Robin did it, but it was funny how his voice was teary but his words sounded jovial.
Whichever way, he meant each and every word and would repeat it over and over again. Matilda forced a smile as she was feeling strange pains here and there.
Still, she refused to inform anyone about it, including her husband, Devin. After the wedding, she wouldn’t mind, but as of now, she couldn’t go to the hospital for whichever reason.
"My queen. If I was given the chance to choose only one thing in life, I will choose you. If I had the chance to live again, I would only do so if you agree to be my wife again."
Robin’s words caught the emotions of everyone present. Sabrina’s eyes were glassy, but she forced herself to not let her tears fall.
For her wedding day, she was not going to allow any tear, be it of joy or sorrow. Taking delight in Robin’s vows, the latter continued to speak.
"You are such an amazing woman and I don’t deserve you. You have the strength of a thousand men and yet, the innocence of a child. You have all the wisdom in the world and yet remain as humble as a dove."
It was so hard for Sabrina to hold it all together as Robin’s words deeply touched her heart. He wasn’t just saying them to please her as it came straight from his heart.
"You bring life and joy into my heart with each passing day. I don’t deserve a woman like you, but I guess I got lucky that you fell in love with a jerk like me."
Sabrina chuckled and so did the guests, but Robin was serious as he continued speaking relentlessly.
I promise that you will be the only woman in my eyes, in my heart, and in my soul. I will never love another and I thank you for giving me a second chance." A tear dropped from Robin’s eyes and Devin dabbed it for him.
Signing the marriage certificate in his office was not enough for him. This was the main thing as this was what was going to keep every other man away from his wife unless they wanted to lose their lives.
Sabrina sighed, not knowing where to start from as she had somehow forgotten her vows in her heart because of how Robin’s vows kept ringing in her mind, but she tried her best as the guests and Robin were all awaiting her response.
"My King, I have seen two sides of you and I must say that the man I’m marrying today is the man I always dreamed of marrying," Sabrina smiled, lighting up the air around her, and Robin kept gazing dreamily at how gorgeous she looked.
Her voice was as sweet as honey and he could listen to it all day. "You captured my heart from the very first time I saw you and though things didn’t work out between us, I’m glad that we sorted out our differences and are finally together again."
Sabrina tried to not recall the events of the past as she had already locked them away from her mind. This was the main thing. Their renewed love was all that mattered at the moment.
"All my life, I have loved only you and it will remain that way," she smiled and said, afraid that if she said any more, then she wouldn’t be able to control her tears from falling, which she didn’t want to happen.
"Rings," the priest said and the rings were brought out by the maid of honor and best man as he said to Robin, "repeat after me as you slip the ring onto the finger of your bride. With this ring, I do thee wed."
Robin repeated the words and slipped the ring onto Sabrina’s finger. The priest turned to Sabrina and repeated the same thing, slipping the ring onto Robin’s finger.
After that, the priest announced, "with the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
As Robin pulled his wife into his arms, his kisses carried so many emotions and he was shedding tears through it.
Thank you for marrying me again," he said, his voice heavy with emotion. Sabrina pulled away and gently wiped his tears. Their eyes locked as she replied,
"I’m glad I married you again. You make me so happy."
Robin was pleased with her words, knowing that was all he wanted. No matter what his enemies did, he was now joined again to his ex-wife and nothing would ever tear them apart.
He pulled her into his arms for another kiss as the crowd began to cheer. "I love you so much, my queen," he said, kissing her again, as the guests clapped harder.
Pulling away, Robin whispered in her ear, "I hope your sores are healed because I’m going to devour you tonight."
Sabrina’s cheeks turned crimson and she smiled shyly, responding in a whisper, "The feeling is mutual."
Robin smiled knowingly. After a month and a few weeks, he was finally going to be intimate with her again. Meanwhile, at a certain part of the hotel, a man who looked like Robin was shedding tears. freewebnoveℓ.com
