The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 427 – What is a woman like you doing in the men’s toilet?
Chapter 427: Chapter 427 – What is a woman like you doing in the men’s toilet?
Everything happened so fast that the fake Robin did not have the slightest opportunity to execute his plans. He had wiped his tears ten times, hitting the walls out of frustration.
Sabrina was now married to Robin again and he could do nothing to stop them.
"I told you the plan wouldn’t work but you insisted on it. He never approached the washroom and got married as soon as Sabrina arrived without a message from the priest beforehand," Hazel said, not knowing how annoying she sounded to the fake Robin and added,
"The security is on high alert now so how do we leave this place before it’s too late?" She asked nervously.
The three of them had locked themselves up in one of the men’s washrooms since that was the only place where the cameras wouldn’t travel.
Due to the interesting wedding event, no one was headed that way but the fake Robin was a boiling rage, he began yelling,
"Shut up, shut up, you shouldn’t have come. All you do is say negative things."
Hazel was taken aback but did not relent. The fake Robin has always had a bad temper ever since they survived that torture.
Perhaps because she no longer pretended to be handicapped as well. Somehow, she wished that Estelle was there with her.
If so, she would have been able to escape flawlessly but with both the fake Robin and Brea taking a stand against her, she felt lost and alone at the moment.
They had also come in the same car and she wouldn’t be able to leave without them. Worse, she had always been isolated from the world because of her past and never had the opportunity of going anywhere alone.
Estelle always accompanied her during those times so to even flag down a cab was something she was afraid to do.
"What I say is the truth. I told you to allow me to take her corporation down but you refused. See where your plan to marry her has landed you?" She asked accusingly, the fake Robin suddenly thought about something and retorted,
"It doesn’t matter."
Both Hazel and Brea froze at that moment. "What do you mean by that?" Hazel asked nervously, he responded,
"I look exactly like Robin so it doesn’t matter that she didn’t exchange the vows with me or the real Robin. I can still do as I have planned."
Hazel was shaking her head in disappointment, feeling that this man was still not using his head as always.
In the past, he has always been driven by his emotions, causing unnecessary problems for all of them.
"How would you get Robin’s outfit? From the looks of it, Devin designed it for him." As the fake Robin thought through the situation, he couldn’t help but feel that Hazel was right.
Even if he snuck out, there was no way for him to get the exact type of suit Robin wore from even the most luxurious clothing store.
Devin’s design, even if the fake Robin got a designer to sew the same thing for him, would take a considerable amount of time and he would miss the wedding altogether.
However, an idea popped into his mind and his eyes lit almost instantly, his heart rate evened out. "Brea. I think it’s your turn to help bring Robin here."
Brea feared, recalling her last encounter with Robin. She might be disguised but couldn’t help fearing that he would be able to recognize her by her actions and inactions.
If that happened, then she was as good as dead. "What do you mean?" She asked nervously, the fake Robin grinned.
"You have to spill something on his clothes. Then he would be forced to come here to take care of it."
The plan sounded good to Brea as all she had to do was to make things look suspicious. There was no way Robin was going to recognize her that way.
"You are awesome," she exclaimed excitedly and was already thinking about how to dodge the cameras when she steps out of the men’s washroom.
Hazel was boiling with rage but the old Robin’s smug look had returned and he smiled, saying,
"And I’m waiting. You have to hurry up before somebody comes to the washroom to see us."
"Alright," Brea said and walked out of the washroom to Hazel’s annoyance. She had insisted that they helped Brea out of prison to be of help to her but now, she was rather supporting the fake Robin with his schemes, making Hazel regret her actions.
Sadly, it was too late for her to change her mind and send Brea back to prison. Even if she tried, the fake Robin would be there to support her.
Brea walked out of the washroom briskly, just as she saw the camera situated close to the washroom automatically tilt the other way.
Sighing with relief at the fact that she had not been caught when she was about to enter the auditorium, she was shocked when somebody asked from behind her,
"What is a woman like you doing in the men’s toilet?"
Brea froze, unaware that the chief of security agents himself had been waiting close to the washroom since all his searches for the man who looked like Robin and the two women he came with were unfruitful.
She gulped, tensed, and was at a loss for what to say. Unlike the fake Robin, who had voice surgery, she hadn’t had that opportunity, so she had to find a way to manually fake her voice.
Forcing herself to stay calm, she turned around to see the head of security agents. He was dressed in a black suit, and she couldn’t help but feel her breath catch in her throat when she saw his handsome features.
This was the first time she felt any form of attraction to any man who was not Robin, and she wondered exactly what was happening to her.
The head of security agents frowned a little, seeing that she hadn’t answered his question.
Remembering that Robin had asked him to work discreetly, he thought of a way to take her fingerprints without making her suspicious.
"Young lady, you still haven’t answered my question," he said, annoyed by the flirtatious look on her face when his pen dropped on the ground.
Before he picked it up, Brea bent down and picked it up for him without thinking... frёewebηovel.cѳm
