The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 428 – Can you identify her?
Chapter 428: Chapter 428 – Can you identify her?
"Young lady, you still haven’t answered my question," he said, annoyed by the flirtatious look on her face when his pen dropped on the ground.
Before he picked it up, Brea bent down and picked it up for him without thinking, her heart skipping a bit when the man before her flashed her a grateful smile.
"Thank you."
"I...I find it hard to identify the signs," Brea spoke in a slightly hoarse voice and cleared her throat. Internally, she was congratulating herself for finding the perfect excuse’s birthday.
The man’s brows raised a little as he replied, "be careful next time."
Brea took another look at him before she reluctantly smiled, saying, "thank you," and walked away.
The man was cute indeed but not as much as Robin. The chief of the security agents did not stop her, quickly scanning the fingerprints with a device and sending it to the server where either Peter or Daniel could access it.
Since Peter was not at the wedding, he faced a lesser distraction and accessed it first. Instantly, he got back to the chief of security on the phone.
"Whose fingerprint is this? There is no information on the person. Everything is wiped," Peter said from the end of the line. The chief of security agents was communicating with him through a cordless earpiece.
"She came with a man who looks like the boss. I saw her coming out of the men’s toilet and she said she couldn’t read the signs well."
"Send me her picture and inform Robin. Please make sure to not ruin the event or make Sabrina panic," Peter instructed, as he began to suspect that it was the enemies they were looking for.
"Of course, I understand."
The chief of security hurriedly followed the path Brea went and tried to take a photo, but she was already among the crowd of dancers and slowly approaching Robin.
The man smelt something fishy and called Robin on the phone, feeling guilty to ruin his wonderful moment with his amazing wife when they were on the dance floor.
"Sir, I saw one of the girls with the man. I got her fingerprint, but Peter said there was nothing about her. He wants me to take a picture, but the girl is approaching you. Please be careful," the Chief of security of the agents warned. Robin was speaking into the cordless earphones while dancing with Sabrina.
Hearing about the report, he couldn’t help the certainty nudging in that his enemies were at it and asked,
"Can you identify her? And can you get a blood sample? You know the other arrangement."
The chief of security agent understood exactly what he meant and responded,
"I will try both, but please don’t let anyone get close to you. I don’t know what she’s up to."
Sure," Robin said, his arms tightening around Sabrina’s waist. She smiled as it was not the first time he held her close like that.
Robin abruptly ended the call, a force hitting him and cold, red liquid staining his black and white tuxedo.
Robin was furious, and a girl knelt in front of him. "I’m very sorry. I lost my balance. Please let me clean it for you," the girl reached out to clean his shoe, but Robin pulled back.
"Don’t touch me and get out of here," he snarled, his fury unrelenting.
The girl looked disappointed; her expression sorrowful. Even with her new appearance, Robin was disgusted with her.
Sabrina felt that Robin had overreacted, since the whole thing was an accident, and lovingly said to him, "
It’s alright. It was just an accident." She tried to wipe off the red wine with a tissue when Lizzy alerted her,
"Your dress is also ruined. Let’s go to the washroom to get cleaned up."
As Sabrina saw the stains on her white wedding gown, she could not refuse. But as soon as she turned to leave, Robin recalled what the chief of security had said.
His priority was his wife and children, but since no one knew about his children, his greater worry was his wife, and he said behind them,
"I will go too."
Robin had no idea it was the same girl the head of security was talking about, but as the girl stood up to leave, somebody grabbed her arm and pain shot through her body like that of a pin.
"Ouch! Take your hands off me," she yelled before turning around and facing the man she had seen before.
"It’s you again," she retorted in annoyance. The man frowned and spoke seriously to her,
"Sorry my ring hurt you, but why are you causing trouble?" the chief of security agent asked, showing the pointed pin from the ring on his finger to the girl without her knowing that her blood had been drawn.
"Why do you keep things like that with you? Isn’t it too risky?" Brea feared a little, since she was nervous.
She wanted Robin to go to the washroom alone, but he was with Sabrina and Lizzy. Brea wondered how the fake Robin was going to succeed with his plans.
"I’m the chief of security, so I can carry anything I want," the man glared at her. Brea took a step back.
Hearing the man say chief of security, she feared that he would see through her. "I have to go now."
The chief of security agent did not want the blood to stay with him for too long. As such, he quickly rushed to the nearest lab.
The DNA test could take hours to days before it would be ready, but he was not willing to the girl out of his sight unless the tests showed negative.
"Where to?" he asked her, but she did not respond and was instead texting someone on her phone.

At the ladies’ and agents’ room, Robin had led Sabrina to the female side before going to clean himself from the red wine. The imposter Robin had hidden in one of the cubicles with Hazel and locked it.
Just as he was about to pounce on Robin from the cubicle, he received a text message. Because his phone was on vibration, Robin didn’t hear it. The message read,
"Sabrina is in the washroom." The imposter Robin’s heart was thumping wildly.
