Chapter 436: Chapter 436 – we caught the man who looks like you

"Miss, we will have to keep you with us for a few days. Since you have no family, or can’t remember them, I don’t think we have anyone to inform, right?" The chief of security agents asked seriously.

It was strange to him how a person who had come in the same car as the fake boss would claim to not have any memory.

Such analysis only heightened his suspicions. Brea was afraid and wanted to inform the fake Robin, but mentioning him right now would only mean that she lied and would also expose the latter even more.

"I might have, but I don’t remember them," she said again, trying to sound neutral, but the reaction of the man she was speaking to did not show whether or not he believed her.

Since Robin had left him on his own, he wanted to prove his worth, and if this woman was indeed as innocent as she proclaimed, then this man would not mind paying compensation in any way he could.

"Great. If you don’t mind, can I have your phone?" He stretched out his hand towards Brea. She felt weak and began to feel feverish at the request.

"Must you?" Her voice was so faint, it couldn’t hide her fears. The man before her smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes as he looked down at her.

All he wanted was to know exactly who she was and be able to find the other two people who came with her.

"You said that you don’t remember anyone. For security reasons, I need to have your phone," he said sternly.

Brea brought out her phone with shaky hands from her small purse and was not able to even delete her last call when it was snatched away from her.

Sensing that things might be worse than she thought, she tried another way, a flirtatious smile stretching her lips.

"Did I tell you that you look very handsome?" Brea smiled seductively and asked. The man in front of her frowned deeply and warned her seriously,

"Stop it, Miss. Such things would only make me more suspicious of your motives. For as long as you comply, nobody would hurt you."

Brea was so ashamed, her mood, and her expression contoured, as she followed meekly the chief of security agents.

At the wedding reception, things had returned to normal, but Robin had informed the MC to hasten the activities, seeing Sabrina’s sorrowful mood.

They were married and had also announced their wedding to the world, but Robin was not satisfied because his second reason for calling for the wedding was not met.

Clearly, Sabrina’s body was present, but her soul was somewhere else, with her best friend.

Robin knew that he also had to make arrangements to postpone the honeymoon until Matilda was discharged from the hospital, instantly making a few calls to postpone some of the pre-honeymoon activities.

"Brina, it’s your wedding day, but you look as if you are at a funeral," Lizzy observed and said, bringing Sabrina’s alertness to her environment.

Sabrina forced a smile as Lizzy added, "Please cheer up, Matilda is a strong woman and she will be fine."

Sabrina knew that Matilda would be fine, but it didn’t erase her anticipation of wanting to know what was happening to the latter.

"She was there for me, but I couldn’t be there for her. I should have considered it when I was setting the date for the wedding. I should have moved it to a later date. I guess I was so selfish," Sabrina lamented.

When Robin heard, he forced a smile and looked away, knowing that he would have done the same if he were in Sabrina’s shoes.

"Stop that, Brina. You know that you aren’t selfish. You agreed to set the date to this time because of what happened to me and my husband," Lizzy comforted her elder sister.

"But..." Sabrina wanted to counter, but Robin could not allow her to keep drowning in her sorrow, especially on their wedding day.

"No buts," Robin cut in. His voice was both stern and soft as he gently explained, "Nothing is your fault. I would end this event and we can go and see Matilda together," he said seriously.

Sabrina was grateful but suddenly recalled the reason why they even had a big wedding in the first place.

"What about the..."

It was as if Robin already knew what she was going to say as he cut in again. "Don’t worry. Daniel, Peter, and the agents are all still working. As soon as they find out something, they would inform me."

Sabrina was still uneasy, remembering the video she saw about how the general tortured Martin and Mara. If they were indeed the ones causing all the troubles now, Sabrina was certain that Matilda would be a great target.

Now that she was in labor, it made it even scarier. "I’m afraid. If it’s them, they can hurt Matilda too."

Robin kissed her comfortingly on the forehead before saying, "Don’t worry. If it’s really them and they are here, they would never be able to escape."

Sabrina smiled at his words. Indeed, ever since she began to trust him and do according to his plans, no danger has ever come her way.

Even if it showed its face closely, it was never able to defeat them, making them stand tall in the midst of their enemies.

"Okay if you say so. Now what next?" Sabrina smiled and asked with renewed hope. Robin’s heart warmed that he was able to make her smile again as he revealed,

"The MC will make the announcement. You have to toss your flower."

It was as if Sabrina was just recalling her responsibility as a bride and smiled shyly, "Okay."

Her okay was not convincing enough for Robin, so he said to her, "My queen, you are beautiful. I just wish that you weren’t so nervous. I miss your smile."

Sabrina paused and forced a smile as the MC announced, "The bride will now toss her flower."

At the same time, Robin received another information from the chief of security agents.

"Mr. Jewel, we caught the man who looked like you."
