The room was filled with pin-drop silence and everyone froze in their places, they didn’t even dare to breathe too loudly. Lory gripped the armrest of the chair, although she knew the Black Dragon’s escape had something to do with Lazarus but she never knew the details, but now she wondered.

Lily pouted "I can take care of myself, and if you haven’t realized yet, it’s too late now!" She didn’t like Ethan treating her like a fragile vase.

Ethan’s comments immediately drew protests from all the women present.

Lydia also felt offended "Yes, I might be just a healer, but I can kick your ass!"

"Idiot!" Hugo gives his grandson side eyes.

Owen grinned triumphantly, "Wow, he’s worse than me"

"Yeah, but he’s got the brain, the looks, and the money, unlike you" Dan cruelly ruined Owen’s momentary victory.

Owen sighed like a deflated balloon, "Yeah...that’s not fair"

However, Ethan’s worries were not wrong, they will most likely target Lilly, the youngest daughter, or Marsha who is the matriarch of the Hamilton family to gain the Hamilton family’s support, but Lory doesn’t want to risk Lilly and her mother’s safety just for the sake of their plan.
