Carnivals: Claimed By The Deranged Alpha Prince [BL]-Chapter 236: Threats and Findings
Chapter 236: Threats and Findings
Chapter 236
Jules’ pov
My hands shook as soon as I read the text and I dropped my phone from the amount of shock that flashed through my inside.
"What is it? You okay?" A panicked looking Kim questioned as he appeared beside me, a hand resting against my side. As I stared straight ahead, I felt numb and I was unable to respond. Kim crouched to retrieve my phone and he slowed down as his eyes caught what was on the screen of the phone.
"What’s... happening?" He questioned slowly as he got to his full height and held the phone out. My hands shook as I reached for my phone. My heart was lodged in my throat from panic and I hurriedly unlocked my phone, dialing Andrian’s phone number instantly.
He picked on the first ring.
"What do you mean in that text? You have my friend with you?!" I cried out, feeling dizzy from how fast my heart was racing. Andrian laughed from the other side of the phone, tone lazy as it drifted into the phone.
"Why do you sound so shocked?" He drawled and I breathed slowly because my lungs were starting to feel too empty. My head was pounding hard, my heart was being swamp with so many emotions at once. Apart from the fact that all of this was my fault, I was currently feeling sick to the core because Elio had basically ended the friendship with me a few hours ago after he found out that his life was in danger because of me. I had basically thought nothing would happen to him since I assumed Andrian would only resort to kidnapping Elio if I don’t comply with him.
"Don’t hurt him, you can’t hurt him, I’m begging you please." I cried out, panting hard but he only crackled out another laugh.
"Well, you know that depends on you at the end of the day. If you comply with me, then he’d be safe. If you don’t, then say goodbye to him because I’d rip his head off his shoulder." The last part of the sentence was hand and cold and I shivered from fright.
"I’ll do whatever you want, just don’t hurt him, please." My tongue felt heavy, my eyes were stinging but I could refuse to cry because that was the last thing needed in this situation.
"You’ll have to show up where I want in the next five minutes. You can’t waste time, you can’t take longer than that. If you do; your little friend dies." He explained and my mouth fell open, spine stiffening. Kim’s eyes were on me throughout and I could tell that he had so many questions.
"B- but... I can’t leave school." I whispered and he chuckled.
"You can, you just need to follow my instructions. I’ll send a portal passage way over, you’ll find it in the principal’s office in exactly five minutes. A minute longer and the portal would vanish, and you know what will happen after that." As he spoke, I swallowed emptily, heart pounding against my ribs as I listened attentively.
"What are you gonna do to me if I show up?" I questioned and he snorted.
"That’s a secret. Why don’t you come find out?" He drawled and I remained silent, my mind still reeling from what was currently happening.
"Don’t forget. Five minutes. And... you must come alone." His voice filled my ears again, and then the call disconnected in the next second.
My legs shook and I almost lost my footing but Kim’s arms prevented that from happening, he led me to the couch and held my hand as I tried catching my breath.
"Was Elio the kid you told me about that was in danger because of you?" He asked softly and after a few moments, I nodded slowly, reaching up to wipe my cheek because a teardrop rolled down.
I’m very certain Elio hates me so much right now, which is very valid. I have to do everything in my power to make sure nothing happens to him; because if anything does happen to him, it’s all gonna be my fault and I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if that happens.
I unlocked my phone and redialed Blaze’s number, but it still didn’t connect. I was beyond panicked right now, I didn’t know what to do and he was the only person I needed right now. He’d know what to do in this situation and without him, I’m completely lost. Should I go to wherever Andrian connected a portal to, it’s clear that danger is gonna be waiting for me there. The only logical thing to do in this situation is to not go, but should I do that; that basically meant I’m leaving Elio to die, because of me. I refuse to let anyone else die because of me.
With a determined sigh, I was about to stand up but Kim’s hold on my thigh prevented that from happening. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"Wait, where are you going?" He asked and I gave him a brief explanation, which honestly didn’t explain much, and at the end of the explanation, he told me it was a bad idea and that I might end up dead along with Elio.
"I don’t think so. This person needs me, from all what I’ve gathered, none of the people after me wants me dead. They actually need me, so I feel like that counts towards something. Besides it’s my fault Elio is currently abducted so I’m gonna go." I explained, determination lingering in my chest.
Kim still kept insisting that it was a bad idea, but when I didn’t change my mind, he agreed to help me and even offered to come with me. I vividly remembered Andrian’s warnings to come alone, but I wasn’t sure I cared right now.
"You have just two minutes left if you’re still doing this."

I had just arrived in the clan my mother apparently came from. Like Roy had suggested, after engaging in physical findings, we ended up finding sources who actually knew who my mother was and confirmed that she was really the Iris Kendrick talked to me about. I even got shown a picture, and I looked so much like her that it was borderline ridiculous to not instantly realize
I was currently here with Roy who appeared uneasy beside me. We were currently being led inside a large castle, one straight out of fairytale books. Nothing looked modern here, everything was set in ancient time, from the guards leading us down a large hallway clocked in full armor and holding sharp edged spears, to the design of the interior of the Castle. Everything in here oozed darkness and somehow, within my chest, I could feel like this was where I’ve been longing for since I was born.
"Are you freaking out?" Roy asked beside me and I shook my head.
"What about you?"
"I’m spooked, these people don’t look like they like us or went us here." Roy responded beside me and I rolled my eyes.
"That’s because we’re technically strangers who’re here uninvited. The gift which gave us passage into this place was also stolen, and I have a feeling they figured that out." I explained, referring to the golden eggs which got us a passageway into this realm. This realm is unlocated to the ordinary eyes, and we were only able to find it after a reliable source gave us a thorough description and key things we’d need before getting into the clan, along with a spell we were supposed to chant as well.
On getting to two large doors at the end of the hallway, a guard pushed the door open while the rest of the guard waited behind. I hesitated and looked into the darkened room in front of us for a moment.
"This is creepy, man. Are you sure about this?" Roy whispered beside me. Before we commenced on this journey which was only this swift because of my ability to teleport, the research said nothing in the demon realm is as it seems... which could mean that this room isn’t actually a dark, creepy room like it’s being made to seem.
I exhaled slowly and grasped Roy’s arm before he could chicken out.
"We’re going in." I told him, tugging him along with me into the room before I could protest.
Inky darkness swallowed us up in the next moment, muffling everything and blackening everything around us as the doors got sealed behind us.
I stood still and held Roy firmly as it felt like the floor got ripped from underneath our feet. Incoherent whispers began to echo around in my ears but I refused to let the words get into my head. One of the warnings we got on researching was that demons were very mischievous as they were cruel and unforgiving.
I remained silent, and even though Roy screamed beside me, he sounded so far away.
After a while, everywhere suddenly grew bright just as our feet settled on solid ground again. I exhaled slowly and tried adjusting my eyes to the sudden brightness.
In the next moment, a face was right in front of mine and I almost yelled from shock because I was staring right back at my own face, but on a girl inside.
"Hello, brother." A feminine voice sneered venomously and my mouth fell open from shock and utter confusion almost immediately.
