Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 177: let him go!
Chapter 177: let him go!
Lysander quickly squatted down to comfort Damon, even when he himself was feeling miserable.
And the one who looked more miserable at that moment was Kael.
And Theron, who was looking at his brothers—of course, he was also feeling sad seeing them like this. But he couldn’t do anything now. Cuz karma is real.
For the last 10 minutes, Damon had been sitting on the floor. In the end, Theron had to step toward Damon.
"Enough with your guilt now. Everyone is watching you, so behave like the older one."
But Damon’s eyes were hollow as he looked up at Theron.
"I’m sorry... Silas... I’m really sorry," Damon kept repeating again and again.
And after a whole 20 minutes, everyone was calm. And they were just in this condition only after knowing that Silas was innocent.
"Okay then, I’m leaving. Cuz I don’t have the whole day to spend here with you."
Saying that, Theron turned—and as soon as he turned, Orian also turned and followed him.
"Orian, where are you going now?" Lysander asked.
Cuz Orian had just returned home, and now he was going out again.
But hearing Lysander’s question, Orian didn’t know how to answer, so he looked at Theron—and Theron turned around, cuz now he’d have to answer for Orian.
And Theron’s face was showing he was not in the mood to lie to anyone.
"What do you mean by ’where is he going’? Is he not allowed to go out of the mansion? Is he imprisoned here? We brought him to our mansion since childhood—it doesn’t mean we’re gonna keep him tied to us when we already know he is not our mate."
Lysander was taken aback hearing Theron, cuz till now when they used to tell Orian everything as they wanted, he used to think that they were doing it for Orian’s safety. But when Theron pointed all this out...
Just then, Lysander and Damon realized they didn’t have any right over Orian at all, cuz he is not their fated mate.
"And I think we should respect Orian’s choice and let him go if he doesn’t want to live with us."
As Theron said that, the three of them looked at Orian, waiting to hear his answer—but before Orian could say anything, they heard:
"What do you mean by Orian wants to leave?"
As those sharp and angry words reached Theron’s ears, he glanced back.
Their mom and dad were standing there with a suitcase, and a big hat on their mom’s head—but her face was red, and her eyes were clearly glaring at Theron.
Theron noticed that, but he didn’t say anything—he just remained standing there.
And their mom was wearing high heels. As she took steps toward Theron, her steps tapped on the floor, making noise.
And their father was just looking at them from behind with a face that said he couldn’t do anything, just bear it if their mother scolded them.
And as soon as she reached Theron, she suddenly turned to Orian and grabbed both his hands.
"Darling, did something happen when I was not here? Did you have a fight with your mates? I’ll scold them for you if they did anything wrong."
Poor Orian wanted to say that he didn’t want to live there anymore, but their mother was looking at him with such an intense gaze that no words were coming out of his mouth.
He was just glancing at Theron in hope—that Theron would help him.
"Darling, why aren’t you answering? Okay, I’m sorry on behalf of my sons. And what Theron said just now about you not being their fated mate—he was lying. You are the fated mate of my sons. Don’t worry."
Theron had had enough now, cuz till now, the four brothers had a hunch that Orian was not their fated mate, but Damon didn’t say anything—that’s why he was also silent.
But all of a sudden, a few months ago, their mother started bringing omegas to the mansion who had blonde hair and blue eyes to be one of their mates.
But still, Theron didn’t say anything, cuz he didn’t want to disrespect his mother. But now, if he didn’t say anything, everything would remain the same.
Orian would never get to leave the mansion and would always remain in the position of their fated mate, even though he wasn’t.
So Theron grabbed his mother’s hand.
"Mom, enough now, will you?"
As those words left Theron’s mouth, everyone was shocked, cuz they didn’t expect Theron to say something to their mother.
"What are you talking about, Theron?? What ’enough now’?"
"I’m telling you—please stop what you’ve been doing all these years. Orian is not our fated mate, and he never can be. Cuz he also has a fated mate—and it’s not any of us four."
"NOOO!" Theron flinched, cuz his mother suddenly shouted in anger.
"He is the fated mate of all four of you! What do you know? I know!"
"Mom, he’s not our fated mate—we can’t even feel his pheromones. We just couldn’t tell you all these years, cuz you seemed so happy that we had found our fated mate. But I can’t pretend anymore. And please, let go of Orian now. Let him live happily, at least."
His mother’s face darkened as she heard him.
"Are you saying I’ve been making him live here by force? Do you think he’s unhappy living with us? He was a kid—since then, I raised him. Gave him clothes to wear, gave him food to eat. Even gave him the position of my sons’ fated mate—what else does he want to be happy?"
"Mom, what he wants—you can’t decide that. Let him decide. It’s his own life. Even if you raised him, it doesn’t mean you can control his life as you want. Please, Mom—let him go. He’s already found the one he loves."
As Theron said that his mother suddenly slapped him hard—and the sound of that slap startled Orian even more.
