One might think that there’s no need for him to do tell Patty, but since she’s his financial advisor, he has to tell her.

James was slightly surprised during the meeting when Patty said that she’s his financial advisor, but it was a role he appreciates her taking.

"Let me guess — you’ve made more money." she asked.

"Alright, let’s hear it. How much are we talking about now?" Patty smiled, with her interest piqued.

Even Leslie who was pressing her phone, was now silently paying attention, as she wants to know the new amount.

"Three hundred and fifty million dollars," James replied.

Silence filled the car for a brief second.

The next moment, Leslie’s phone nearly slipped out of her hands, as she stared at James intently with a look of incredible shock and disbelief on her face.

Patty was also shaken as she blinked multiple times, and and looked at James like she heard wrong.

"James..." she called his name, still processing the number.

"Are you telling me you’re going to inject $350 million into the LLCs right from the start?" she asked, wanting to confirm what James said, and to make sure that she didn’t hear wrong.

"Yes." James nodded.

Leslie gawked at him, her jaw nearly dropping to the ground due to the sheer shock of what James said.

Actually, Leslie still hasn’t grasped the full extent of James’ wealth. Also, if it wasn’t for her Mom and James previously discussing about Mr Harrington’s call over breakfast, she wouldn’t had found out that James was starting an investment company.

Leslie couldn’t but sighed as she remembered just how bad things were for them a few weeks ago. But a smile bloomed on her face as she thought of how much the future would change.

Patty, on the other hand, quickly pulled herself together, slipping into her professional mindset, as she tapped her fingers against her thigh thoughtfully.

"That’s a massive jump in capital. With this kind of funding, you can move past small-scale investments entirely," she said, and asked, "Alright. I need details. How are you structuring this? Are you talking liquid cash, or are you counting assets too?"

"Just cash. There will be an initial funding of $100 million, then I will fund them an additional $250 million," he replied.

"I see...," she nodded slowly.

"Is there a reason why you want to want to fund the LLC like that? You know, initial funding and another funding?" She asked curiously.

"No. I just feel like doing it that way," James said, with a smile.

There was no way that he will tell her about the system and rebate rewards.

"Also, there are some new assets that will transfered to the real estate holdings LLC and the investment holdings LLC, after they have been created," he added.

Patty, who was previously deep in thought, nodded and smiled.

"Thank you for telling me this. Nothing changes for now until the trust and LLCs had been set up and fully operational," she said, and James nodded in understanding.

Leslie, who was pressing her phone and also listening on their conversation, sighed soundly, as she sank further into the leather seat.

"Good. Now, can we just enjoy the vacation until till then?"

"Sure, we can do that," James smiled.
