Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 30: Lazy pig
Chapter 30: Lazy pig
Silas’s POV
I was so happy that Director Wang liked my acting—everyone else did too. But when Director Wang glanced at Ciel’s chair and I saw that name, my heart started racing.
Just then, the door slammed open, drawing everyone’s attention.
"Sorry, everybody, I’m late," Ciel said, panting. He was wearing fancy clothes, and his face was covered in makeup, but I still didn’t like him. His brown hair, his entire presence—everything about him disgusted me.
"Don’t you know the correct time? Why are you late even for a meeting? Don’t tell me you don’t value time at all."
"No, sir! It’s not like that. I value time the most," Ciel replied, his voice smooth like honey. Man, he was talented. This was exactly how he used to talk with Dad and Zarek—and now here too.
"If you really valued time, you would’ve come sooner, not late. I don’t like irresponsible people like you. And don’t just stand there—come and sit down fast! We’re having a meeting here, not a feast."
I was watching Ciel as he sat down. The moment his eyes landed on me, they widened in shock—he clearly hadn’t expected to see me here. His face twisted with anger.
I turned my attention back to Director Wang. Since Lysander and I were the main leads in the drama, his entire focus was on us—especially me. He had so much hope for me.
"Shooting will start two days from now," Director Wang announced. Everyone nodded in agreement.
After the meeting, people started leaving one by one. As I stepped outside, saying goodbye to Director Wang, I saw Ciel standing a little farther away. He looked furious, as if he was waiting to talk to me. I was ready for it too—I wasn’t going to hold back anymore. Just as I was about to walk toward him, Lysander suddenly wrapped his arm around my neck, and Nekol came up beside me.
"Darling, after taking advantage of me in the meeting room, now you’re leaving me alone? You really are cruel," Lysander pouted.
I shoved his hand off me. "Who took advantage of you? It was Director Wang who told us to act together!"
"I was the only handsome alpha in the entire meeting room, that’s why," he sighed dramatically. "Silas, you just don’t know my worth yet."
"Wait—I don’t even want to know your worth because I have no plans to buy you."
"Hey! Was that an insult?" He stepped in front of me, blocking my way.
"Lysander, step aside. Don’t be so childish," I snapped.
"Both of you, enough," Nekol cut in. "Tell me what happened in the meeting room. I’m curious."
Of course, Nekol would be curious. I was about to explain, but before I could, Lysander opened his mouth and spilled the entire tea instead.
Nekol was my manager—it was my responsibility to tell him everything, not Lysander’s. We left together, still talking, and because of that, Ciel never got the chance to talk to me.
When we reached the car, I was surprised to see Lysander getting in as well. I sat in the passenger seat beside Nekol, but that damn Lysander pulled me to the back seat, making me sit next to him. I let out a deep sigh.
"Are you tired, Silas? Don’t worry, I’ll lend you my shoulder. You can lean on me and take a nap," Lysander offered.
"Like hell I will. Stop daydreaming!"
And just five minutes later, Lysander was already dozing off, his mouth open, drool dripping out.
"Lazy pig," I muttered, side-eyeing him. Then I glanced at Nekol. "Nekol, why didn’t you say no to this guy when he asked for a ride?" I continued.
"You know he’s really famous, right? That means he has his own car, tons of bodyguards, and a manager too. So why didn’t they come to pick him up?"
"Silas, we need to maintain a good relationship with him. Don’t argue with him again. Plus, he’s in the same company as you, so you two should help each other."
What Nekol was saying made sense, but for some reason, I still felt uneasy. I couldn’t explain it, so I just hummed in response.
On our way back, Nekol stopped at a nice restaurant since it was already dinner time. freёnovelkiss.com
"Hey, piggy, wake up," I said, shaking Lysander’s shoulder, but he didn’t budge. He kept sleeping. Annoyed, I pinched his hand—hard.
"Ughhh..." His eyes snapped open, and he looked around, completely dumbfounded. "Where am I? Who am I?"
I smirked. "Yep, exactly what I expected from you, piggy. And we’re here to feed you. I hope you get what I mean."
He yawned and wiped the drool off his face just as Nekol knocked on the car window.
"Guys, come out—and wear those masks. They’re behind you."
I grabbed a black mask and cap, then tossed one to Lysander.
"You wear it. I don’t need it," I said.
He flicked my forehead. "Idiot, wear it. You’re going to be an actor soon, and if someone recognizes me and sees your face, we’ll be on the hottest search tomorrow. So be careful."
I groaned but put on the mask and cap anyway. I really didn’t want to, but whatever.
We stepped out of the car and entered the restaurant. Nekol booked a private room so we could eat freely.
It was a Japanese-style restaurant. We sat on the mat on the floor, and just like before, I took a seat beside Nekol—but that damn Lysander once again sat next to me.
"Why are you sitting next to me? There’s an empty seat in front of us," I frowned.
"Well, I don’t wanna sit there. I only wanna sit beside you," he said shamelessly.
Nekol let out a sigh, clearly fed up, then stood up and moved to sit across from us.
"Let’s order food," Nekol said, changing the topic.
Obviously, I wanted to eat curry since we were in a Japanese restaurant, so I ordered it for myself as well. But Lysander, as always, was different.
"I’ll eat whatever gets ordered, so don’t worry about me. Just go ahead and order—dinner’s on me," Lysander said.
I was pretty impressed after hearing that. He wasn’t a picky eater at all.
